| brilliant from widnes and it really is ours to lose now.
lets just hope London don't get inspiration from watching that and have their best performance of the season.
also pains me to see wire play so badly, in this and the semi they have been awful and dropped enough ball to have given us very good chances of beating them. they must have made more errors in this game than they have made in 5 games against us!!

Do that and Giants 2013 is certainly writing its own storey book as the coaching staff have been stating all season, will anyone believe them?
Will the fans turn up for the last home game??'"
of course the fans will turn up, the fans have turned up all season, its whether the people of Huddersfield will turn up to hopefully see 81 years of hurt erased and see a Huddersfield team win a major piece of silverware.

I hope the people of Huddersfield do, was talking to a Huddersfield supporter today, (Town) when I mentioned the Giants he didn't have a clue where we were in the league, or seemed bothered when I told him we are top of the league and with a great chance of winning the title, think this is typical of alot of Hudds folk

| It would be so good to win it at home against Wakefield.
If we beat London the club should go all out to publicise the Wakey game.
Get the crowds out.
I would also like us to be presented with the Shield after the Wakey game if we win in front of a bumper crowd. It would be much better than doing it at odsal where the fans will be scattered all over the place and you are so far away you could not see it.

If that's not counting chickens DG, we've won nowt yet as Jools has said, we need to make sure we come away from London with the 2 points and take it from there.
PS It would be rather splendid if it did happen though

| I am getting a lump in my throat just thinking about getting presented with silverware, I have seen us lift the 3rd division trophy, the divisional premiership trophy, the infirmary cup, the buddies cup,the NFP trophy, but seeing us crowned as the league winners will be something none of us could ever dream off, winning all the above was brilliant for a club like ours, but nothing will compare to being what in the old days would have been league champions!! and to think of the shellackings we took at the likes of Keighley, dewsbury, rochdale, york, doncaster etc not so long ago,it still doesn't seem real

Comments like these are a sad indication of the culture in this country of hours and its a shame some other fans don't have the good grace to recognise what the giants are on the cusp of this season. I am so p*****d off with comments like these from smug idiots who know nothing. Whilst I don't know who you follow you may have had the pleasure of following your club who may have won the odd GF or whatever but we have won nothing for neigh on 81 years. You may mock and to you the possibility of finishing top of the ladder may not mean anything but if you imply it would mean nothing to your club whoever they may be then you are an idiot because every club wants to finish heading the ladder.
To us and the 5,500 regular followers of our club its progress so whilst we haven't finished top yet or won a grand final do us a favour if you can't say anything intelligent don't bother.

| We could win the league and Grand Final and some would still say we aren't the best.
Winning the league is a massive deal, everyone plays everyone else home and away, plus that extra magic weekend game and we are so so close to it now. To come out above the likes of Wigan, Wire, Leeds, Saints etc... will be a massive achievement if we can hold it together.
Now lets beat London and we are another step closer.

To be honest if a Huddersfield Town fan asked me where terriers were in their league I would also have to say I'm not bothered, as I have no interest at all in football. I went once to a game as a friend had a free ticket and left at half time I was so bored, and Town were winning 3-0. Sorry if this upsets supporters of both games and I know there are some but just my personal opinion.

Yet their brave bid came to a stunning end when Cudjoe stepped out of the defensive line to intercept a pass and then run away for a 90-metre effort. (Times 2)

| That's exactly the same with me, I couldn't give a Fleas' Phart about the achievements or lack of them, but I can't get away from the endless coverage they get in the local rag.
Any terriers supporter who is not aware of our position must be either illiterate, intellectually challenged or live in Cleckheckmondsedge, so I suppose it's forgiveable.

| I think they are aware of it ......to some of them it hurts like bloody mad to see what we are doing ...to others, there is nothing but praise for us and how its a good thing for the town.
There is also a Rugby Union club, well 2 i think, in this town and i haven't the foggiest idea or care how any of them are doing so i can see it from both points of view.
