Spoke to his Dad last night, he's signed a 4 year deal with another club. Announcement due this week, could be Hudds, Wigan or Saints

I was actually disappointed we didn't try and sign him from Leeds before Salford did. I think he is a top quality winger

He's just replied to a tweet asking if hes not going to be at salford and said he hasn't decided yet, when asked why he hadnt signed yet he said
" just weighing up the options! It's not just about rugby it's about my whole life! What's best for me"

Sounds like he has a few options.- cant blame him for taking his time- he may be waiting to see how the season progresses for the various teams.

Not sure about this, Jodie is a great player - but I can't see where he fits in at the moment? Murphy and McGillvary are both doing an excellent job plus we have Dawson and Blackmore waiting for an opportunity having to send Luke George out on loan.

So I can't see why we would be trying to sign him.

Blackmore Dawson and George all OOC this year. And much as smurph is doing great Jodie would improve our squad I think. Bit of extra pace out wide wouldnt be detrimental.

Should imagine if it were happening he would be a replacement for Luke George with one of Dawson and Blackmore staying as back-up.

And the current guy, who is doing an outstanding job already, what about him?

But Luke George has got tonnes of pace, why isn't he playing over Murphy if that is the case?

I know what you're saying, but my point is in that case we would have Jerry, Murphy & Broughton. Three first choice wingers for two starting places. Would Murphy go back to being a back-up? I would think that is a tad harsh after the form he has been showing.

Broughton and George, are fast, faster than Murphy, but Murphy is a far better defender, it all boils down to what you prefer, personaly defence wins games

id say broughton is better than dawson, blackmore and luke george.

i rate murphy very highly though too. but if a player the quality of broughton comes along have to take him.

anyway sound like saints prob have him!
