I was surprised to see so many behind the sticks today......maybe its all the new fans who presume away fans have to go there, some good banter down the side until the dicks decided to butt in as usual in the last 10 mins !!!

Early doors and its nice to be there but like i kept saying at the game we get nothing for topping the table in March.....but considering our injury probs at the beginning this is a great achievement.

I think the fact that it was sunny behind the posts had a lot to do with where some fans were. Just one request can we please cut out the swearing chants- it doesn't reflect well. Ta.

Good turn out, good banter with the Wakey fans but atmosphere behind the sticks was dire, no singing just polite clapping when we scored. Was like being in church.

Seemed to be a fair few Giants fans there and lots of faces I haven't seen before, just need to start making a bit more noise. The ones down the side were singing but would have encouraged more if had been behind the sticks, too spread out.

Massive thanks to the Wakey fan who stopped to offer a lift to me and kids after little lass had taken a bad tumble.

Thats why we dont go behind the sticks.
I hate watching RL from behind the goals, if i can i will always go side on ...........hence at Wakey i always do.

The vocal support has always stood at the side at wakey,if ppl want atmosphere at games then its usual to go where the vocal support gathers.

I don`t like it behind the sticks either, we started down the side but then went behind the sticks as the view from the side is rubbish. You can`t see the moves developing.

Thats why behind the sticks is better, the only advantage of side on is being able to shout FOREWARD and get em on side, behind the sticks you can see the plays, best position home or away

After enduring years of idiotic Wakefield 'fans' and especially witnessing last years abuse of the elderly Giants supporter and his young grandson by extremely abusive and intoxicated Wakefield 'fans' I vowed never to go there again and am sticking by that.

However I know a few friends of mine who normally stand down the side resorted to standing behind the sticks at yesterdays game as having a reduced view outweighed putting up with the usual morons!

They were still there........well i say were, they 'surprisingly' appeared about 10 minutes before the end when it was clear the game was ours..........!

and it carried on outside after the game as well.
it really does baffle me why wakefield dont put stewards in that area as we all know whats going to happen near the end of the game!
also baffles me why these people bother coming to games against us when its clearly upset them so much when they lose.
