| That's about what I would have said brearley. A lot more than they have brought for the last few years.... If they've brought a third of their home crowd that's some doing- But remember- it's only us that have poor crowds!!!!!
Wasn't the crowd at Cas /Leeds fantastic- just under 10,000 the 'official' figure although they announced more at the game.
Filled the ground, fantastic turn out blah blah stevo, yet we get 10,000 for a Leeds game and we get blasted - stadium empty where are the fans blah blah stevo.

| 2 and a half blocks were open on that stand and the 2 were about 70% full - i would have said about 700-800 but if that's what the club have said then fair enough. Amazing really considering that in their last 2 visits they haven't brought over 250 here but a few wins brings half their entire home support out !! proves that most people will only watch a winning team.

And you could have had many more if your club had not refused to provide more tickets after Salford sold out their allocation.

Refused- or recognised it was pointless given by the time they arrived they would have had to be sent back.
You not got phones or the internet in salford? free click and collect too difficult for you- or just an excuse?

| As far as i know once a club has sold out it's initial allocation it can request extra tickets as long as the stand isn't full which it clearly wasn't...in fact the area that was available to Salford fans was not even full - there were plenty of spare seats at the front of the 2 blocks, probably a good few hundred seats still left. Plenty more Salford fans could have paid on the day.

Seeing that the kids swap tickets ran out early Wednesday and you only sent 500 tickets in total and as stated 1000 plus attended it looks like fans did use the click and collect but a lot of those with kids voucher swop tickets were refused the facility to swop at your
ticket office so did not attend.
Your childish comments about internet and phones in Salford does not help a sport that is increasingly finding it difficult to attract fan.

| We ordered on line in the end. I phoned Huddersfielad and was told that they only made the season ticket swap available for the initial allocation to Salford and once they'd gone that was the lot. Poor do that. Been able to use my son's season ticket on the day at Cas, Wakey, London and Warrington but Huddersfield said no over 24 hours before. I know it's only a fiver but not known that before and will probably have put some off.
That said the click and collect worked really well, no queue and the lack of swap was only down side against the usual good trip to Huddersfield, always made to feel welcome and most fans are good on the forums

| To be fair you've brought no more than a couple of hundred in your last 3 visits here so going by that 500 would have been adequate numbers, obviously your extra fairweather fans caught the Giants out this time then.

Correct but Warrington accommodated a following of 2000 by supplying extra tickets as and when they were sold for a stadium with half the available capacity. Thanks for the faifairweather fans remarks I've been saying for over thirty years I'd love to hear fans of other clubs calling us glory hunters

| however many Salford brought, it was far and away the most they have ever brought to the stadium in 20 years.
it must beg the question, that if the interest in Salford RL is there, which it was on friday night why are the crowds so poor at home?
obviously it could be that those who came on friday are the home support, but i suppose it shows, that if Salford do get some success then the interest is certainly there, sadly unlike us.

The answer to that question is the AJ BELL Stadium unfortunately it started off with problems and a lot of people now won't attend I live to the east of Manchester and on Friday I came to Huddersfield by train that also included a part bus replacement. I made the 8:15 train to Ashton-under-Lyne picked the car up and was home before 9pm that's roughly 75mins. When I'm at the AJ BELL I'm lucky if I get home inside two hours.

I'm sure if your club had requested more tickets after the original 500 had been sold they would have got some. Maybe Salford presumed 500 would be enough too.
