I said last after last weeks performance it looked like they were saving themselves for the cup.
So was hoping for a good performance today and they certainly delivered from 1 to 17

| Excellent win for you guys today. Kept Sinfield quiet today with fantastic defence. Thought Brough was my MOM. can't understand why you had a played red carded and McGuire got off scott free from his indescretions. Go to Wembley every year and will be good to see different teams there this year.  |

Great game. Whereas last week Giants had no bounce of ball this week they had their fair share. Leeds could have won the game and probably that score doesn't reflect things.
Having watched it again I thought the officials were pretty good as well.
For me Leroy was awesome. Some fabulous punditry from the BBC, The camera work however was a total embarrassment. What is needed is the BBC's pundits with sky's pictures.
It was great to see a big crowd and the Leeds fans as usual were good sports.

As a neutral - but supporting you lot - it was a fatastic game to watch and a fantastic team performance.
You definately deserved to win on the back of that defensive performance.
Eorl was immense - he played the best I've ever seen both in defence and attack. My MOM.
Broughs kicking was intelligent and accurate - continually driving Leeds back. Sinfield ? - was he meant to be the best kicker? was he on the pitch?
The plan to attack the Leeds right worked.
I think your centre needs to take a long hard look at himself.
Ablett set him up beautifully and he quite rightly got sent off. You could just see Ablett simply stepping away and Delany wading in to defend his team mate. There was only going to be one outcome.
(interesting choice of words from Baloo at the end in relation to his potential future...)
Apart from that brain fart though, you played brilliantly - well done.
Totally different to last week when you were clearly not at the races.

Now watched the game on the beeb too - and liked being able to hear what the video ref was looking at - great innovation and helps the transparency of the decisions much better.
Thought the beast had his best game for us - he had an impact in a few different ways and certainly caught Leeds' attention.

He went slightly better. Still knocked back in nearly every tackle although his defence was ok. Coaching team obviously have no confidence in him as he never came back in the second half when the game got tough and the result was in the balance

I think he took a bit of a knock (boot, elbow, cheap shot unpunished by the ref) at the end of the first half
He looked good to me when he was out there - he might have been pushed back a couple if times but that's cos he was drawing 3-4 defenders onto him

What I got the most satisfaction from yesterday was the fact that: despite being 2nd in the table, despite consistently beating leeds over the last 2 years, despite having invincible opposition like maguire,we showed up when all the pundits were going for leeds..why is it so hard to believe that we were going to win ...i knew ever since it was drawn out of the hat, better hooker, better centres, better props, fantastic second row, THE BEST number 6 in the country bar none...Eorl Crabtree, Leroy..etc...time to believe people
