Not sure what more the lads could've done tonight, had a ref against them second half and the bounce of the ball never seemed to go our way either. Just plain old bad luck. Guess there's a reason why wigan hardly ever lose at home. Can't fault the effort one bit tonight. Had a great time in north stand regardless!

Despite the loss last night there was enough to see that Hudds shouldn't be near the bottom of the table at the
business end of the season, Brierley looked great and should start scoring tries for fun.

we started poor, didnt complete our first 3 sets and found ourselves 6-0 down with wigan offloading.

got into our stride after and looked good, cudjoe causing havoc and great to see brierley get on the score sheet 3 times!

mason let us down abit after last week with 3 pens and a sin bin.

That was a good effort last night, I actually thought we were they better side as regards football. Wigan were more professional but had we been a bit smarter the game was ours, We will play worse than that and win before the seasons out.

Nice to see brierley get some reward for his backing up, starting to think he needs to be more involved. Cudjo looked impressive I thought, and Hinchcliffe looked busier, shame we didn't score from the high kick near the end. Well done the team and well done Anderson for saying what needed to be said, It will cost him of course but he will have made the point.

Our attack goes sideways too often from acting half for my liking.

So we had Crabtree and Ellis missing for this game and wigan had... Tomkins x 2, Manfredi, Williams, McIlorum. O'laughlin, Farrell missing. Strange, you would think they would be bottom of the league missing so many key players!
