| Can I point out that I do back Dean Hoyle in the fact he's the only one at the moment that can get those shares back, I back Dean Hoyle as he has the financial clout to support Town into the premier league and I can quite categorically say that this is the one reason Dean Hoyles getting this backing from Town fans. But the point where I don't back him is when he pulls out of a deal for a principle thats financially immaterial to him when according to the statements, and not some hate fuelled guesses from a public forum, it's down to a rent formula that the original ground rent formula was set when the ground was built, So Dean Hoyle wants the stadium shares back to how they were yet doesn't want to be party to the rent formula going back to how it was, you can't have it both ways and be fair!!!
Can I also point out my posts are based on the information given by the statements made public and my own observations made of the forums and social networks read!!!
At the end of the day Town need Dean onside to progress which is why he's getting this one eyed support, Davy on the otherhand they believe lied to them which is why they feel justified in their hatred and distrust of him. They believe his non acceptance of arbitration in the matter condemns him further as a crook, but if he had done something illegal he'd have more to worry about than a few hundred Town fans!!! Davy will always have the utmost respect from me after all he never moaned or complained during his tenure of Town can't say the same for Hoyle mind in his 2 years at the helm! It's about time Town fans showed the same respect and gratitude but then again this is only a few in the minority, the majority feel Davy saved Town and give him the respect he deserves! Protest all you want Davy's seen this before and he never moved!!
#dotherightthing ? Davy was but Hoyle backed out. Theres more to it than anyone in the public will ever know and tbh it's none of our business unless it is made public and until then we can only make assumptions and not trade them as facts as the facts are only in the statements issued.

| Wearing T-Shirts didn't go to well last time...
This whole issue is making me really question my support of town. I personally think a rental formula of 33:34:33 would work, with the Council holding the middle share. Then there would be no threats, no bitching and everyone could get back to normal. I support town, I support fartown - I am from Huddersfield and I always will support anything from Huddersfield. I want Huddersfield's fans of all sports to unite and support each other.

Exactly Jools!
Protests aren't going to help anyone!!
Quote Clr Khan insisted: “Town are represented on the KSDL Board. I would ask fans to give Dean, Ken, KSDL and the council some space to work through what happens next with the promise that we will do all we can to resolve the current unsatisfactory situation.”
Clr Khan said the principle behind the stadium should represent the partnership ethos of the scheme with a 40-40-20 split between Town, the council and the Giants.
Clr Khan said Ken Davy’s rescue in 2003 when Town went into administration was vital.
“This was the only deal on the table and without it Town would not have been saved.
“However, with Ken Davy owning both clubs and mindful of the previous financial experiences, he suggested putting the shares into a holding company Huddersfield Sporting Pride Ltd which would offer a degree of protection in the event of future financial difficulties.
“Both clubs – and the council – are now in a very different financial position. We welcomed Dean Hoyle’s acquisition of Huddersfield Town, and the news that both Dean Hoyle and Ken Davy had reached agreement which would give Town more of a stake in KSDL.
“I, and the rest of the council, will do all I can to ensure that the two club owners reach an agreement over the transfer of shares. I would personally like to thank Ken for what he has done, and welcome the investment and success Dean has brought.”

I think thats a fair assessment of the situation! Puts it into perspective especially how the shares were transferred etc
Quote Robert Pepper, secretary of Huddersfield Town Supporters Association, claims the football club cannot stand on its own two feet without the stadium and until the shares issue is resolved a black cloud hangs over the future of the Terriers.
Mr Pepper, who led the delegation to voice supporters’ concerns said: “The club is purely a tenant of the stadium and we receive no income whatsoever from it.
“We are in the fortunate position of having a wealthy man as chairman, but we cannot rely on one man’s wealth. The club has to stand on its own two feet and without the stadium we cannot do that.
“The future is untenable without the shares which give us part ownership of the stadium. It is absolutely vital that we sort this. This is the most serious situation for the club since administration in 2003.”'"
So if it's vital for the future of Huddersfield Town why did Dean Hoyle back out over a such an immaterial sum??? A principle?? Do Town fans really believe the rent formula which is apparently the sticking point vital to their future progress??? #dotherightthing
As I say it's all well and good bleating about how Davy got the stadium share for £2 but he got that from the administrators, if those stadium shares were put on the market at this present time would they still be worth £2?? Now that is the question Town fans should be asking, afterall as Mr Pepper suggests that while they will get the share back they will again generate income from them so they must be worth more than £2 surely! And Mr Hoyle thought so when he made the agreement in 2009! So please explain why they should still be transferred over for such a sum? It's all well and good saying Davy's gazumped but maybe it's brinkmanship on Hoyle's part maybe?
At the end of the day protesting over things that have nothing to do with you isn't right as the council have said leave it to the moneymen, it's their business and none of yours nor mine!!
Btw I paid £2 for my lottery ticket and I'm now a millionaire (I'm not really I got a tenner but it does show that £2 can go a long way!!! ( btw it's a social network thing going around))

| My local MP is also discussing it in parliament today too!
And it appears I'm not the only one thinking there's more to it as an apparent neutral in this is asking the same questions I am in the letters page of the Examiner!! The letters page also highlights the bullying mentality of a select few too!! It's all very well protesting but don't overstep the mark!!!

| Thugs shouting "scab" at a father who was buying half-time refreshments for his children. Bloody disgraceful.
Unfortunately that is the mentality of a section of Town support. They're probably not even true fans & the genuine Terriers will be as disgusted at their antics any everyone else is. No wonder these individuals can't grasp the reality of the situation & have made Davy out to be the villain of the piece.

cos then he'd have nothing to lure the lemmings to cliff with, i suspect hoyle is using this saga to raise his popularity with town fans should they once again fail to get out of the 3rd tier of English football, thereby ensuring he dont cop any flack and leaves clark to cop it, a bit like ken davy is copping it now.
very clever tactics i think
