Huddersfield boss Nathan Brown:
"I think this is unlike a performance that we are use to.

"Most sides have one or two of these a year and today was definitely one for us.

I would like to hear what else he has to say but certainly agree there was zero commitment and the attitude was poor. We have clearly not learned our lesson from Cas. Clearly!

imo brough is a player that opposition sides target due to his poor defense,i would never call him a solid defender in a million years mate

Which shows you have no appreciation of the excellent strides he has made in defence since he signed with us.

I think you suffered today in the same way that we did against Les Catalan's a few weeks ago.
We had beaten Saints away, Leeds at home and then Wigan away, and in each game we looked great.
We played Les Cats the week after beating Wigan and we all thought it was going to be an easy Wire win.

In the past two games you have beat us at home and then Leeds away and everyone thought today's game at Wrexham was a foregone conclusion.

It is so hard for a team to get themselves up physically and mentally after playing big games. As we found out two weeks ago and you found out today.

Simpson = woeful, set the tone with his 1st carry and getting put into touch. I've seen enough. What a waste of a valuable quota spot.

Jerry = 1st bad game of season, 3 tries past him. 1 great take of the high ball. Really need him to bounce back with a big effort on Tuesday

Leroy and Lawrence = just not with it today in either attack or defence

Brown and Brough = didn't look interested, possibly due to our pack being out played

Pack = didn't run with enough speed and didn't tackle with enough power

We can get by if 1or 2 people are off their game but I honestly felt not one player did themself any justice.

We stood off. We grabbed at the shoulders, arms out. We didn't get stuck in. We just didn't look interested at all.

I was laughing at the standard by the end, it was like they were trying to play badly.

Jerry = but it was his 1st bad game of the season, he ran hard, but 50% of the game is defence. A winger going on the outside past you once you can forgive, twice you look sloppy, 3 times and you really need to work on it because this video will be watched by every coach we play

Anyone care to say what Simpson did wrong apart from the first carry? I'm just curious, I didn't feel he had a bad game comparatively. Ran the ball well out of our own line as usual.
