| It's easy to say now that the 2 points was the wrong decision because you missed and turned the ball over. But at the time I thought the two was the correct call. It was just poorly executed. Was definitely worth the risk in my opinion.

| For a team that supposedly had the best defensive record in the league, I don't think we've necessarily shown it over the past couple of weeks.
Cudjoe is totally off his game. He missed two straight forward tackles in the build up to Quinlan's second try (amongst a number of others) and his wild shoot out from the line could have cost us another try.
And I don't buy the 'if he'd got the interception, you'd be praising him' argument. Sport at this level is a about fine margins and if you don't nail it, it will cost you.

| Good game. Good performance. Great attitude. Hard to be too down hearted.
Turning point for me was Brough going for goal. We had scored twice and could of pinned them. Run down the time. Go for a drop goal if we didn't get a try. We scored most of the time we was up there. Poor decision at a crucial time. Something our team need to work hard on.

He missed two tackles all game. (Same coincidentally as Jerry who only actually made 1) he also bust 4 tackles and was our highest metre maker.........
but hey.... Don't let that get in the way of a good scapegoat.

At the time it was the right thing to do. And we don't know whether brough made that decision or the message came from the coaching staff. If he'd have nailed that kick then game over for saints. No certainty we'd have got in a position for a drop goal or it would have gone over.

| Personally thought brough made the wrong decision. You guys had some momentum equalising after being 24-34 down with less than a quarter of the game left, and would've backed you to score either a try or a drop goal. All in all it was a cracking game for the nuetral.

What! You do realise he was faced with a 5 on 2 overlap? What would you want him to do that would stop them scoring?

You are wasting your time. Leroy has taken over the scapegoat mantle since grix hasn't been playing.
I Note that the poster has claimed he missed two "straightforward" tackles in the build up to the try and "numerous" other tackles when the stats show the grand total of tackles missed by him in the game is... 2

There was only one part of the field we needed to be in and converted or not... We would of been back down at our end or worse lost out in a short kick off. There was time plenty of time left for saints to level with us or score a try if we had got the kick over the sticks.
If we had got the kick and defended to win the game I'd of said it was the wrong call at the time.
Just my opinion.
We played very well... No loss to be moaning about that's for sure.

i thought we were fine in midfield and down their end, it was the half ar$ed attempts for 3 of their tries that bothered me.
as for Cudjoe, in attack he is fine and caused saints problems in attack, but his defence is worrying me, however he has shown he is a good defender and i'm sure he'll get that back

But at the same time every player in claret & gold does not defecate Mars bars! I though Cudjoe was pretty poor yesterday. He was hesitant and his positional play was puzzling on occasions.

| We could have had this game won by half time, 4 or 5 big chances that we failed to convert, just cant do that at this level, will continue to win nowt till we start taking the chances.
some very slack tackling from us too, unlike us with the best defence.
in the end we could and should have won, ellis needed to convert the try and then brough also had a chance from the half way line.
was that really a knock on from robinson at the death which led to the drop goal?? sure it went back!
very disappointed with this game.

| I was disappointed in ellis' miss of the conversion, it was fairly easy really. But more than that the opportunities we bombed. The brough penalty was strange too, I remember thinking at the time, nearly 10mins left, chance of a moving up field, drop goal or even go for the score (may even get another penalty) we scored pretty much every time we got up there in the second half. Was this a lack of confidence with our drop goals? It was a depleted saints there for the taking. It will be interesting to see what someone like hinchcliffe will bring to these situations next year.

| Kick at goal was the wrong choice for me too, but hey ho
Another turning point imo was brought hacking on after his chip over, drop on the ball, quick ptb while saints are offside and were in - kicking on meant he was never going to get the ball back and we turn over with a tap 20

Somewhere in the dust of time rest the bones of the Galilean
He who was spat upon. He whose face was marred beyond all human likeness
Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua
Of he who was made God in a world without Hope.
And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say?
Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say
"Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war": |

The knock on was from Huby. It was a knock on. But I've seen them not given.
