Despite the recent animosity the Giants and Wolves fans have always got on well and should the Giants be beaten on Thursday I would suspect the majority would be backing Warrington to win in the Grand Final.

Doesn't Westood play down the right flank with Waterhouse down the left? If so Westood won't line up against Robinson, he'll be going against Ferres, Wardle & Brough which could make for a great battle - particularly Westwood vs. Ferres.

Some of the other posters might need to help me with this: Has Chan played against Warrington this year? i.e. Have the Giants played with their first choice second row this year (barring O'Donnell)?

Cheers for that, I remember now - Chan played but Ferres didn't.

I think Ferres, Chan and Lawrence starting with Ferguson on the bench should be enough in the 11, 12 and 13 spots. It's also a combination that the Giants haven't used this season due to resting/injuries etc. Give Lawrence the first 30 mins to blow his lungs out, then bring Ferguson on to run some good lines off Robinson down the right hand side.

My personal feelings are it's going to be an excellent battle in the middle of the park.

What's happened to Cording? He was looking good this season, really looked to have improved but has had little game time in the second half of the season.

Yeah Ferres has the potential to do a job, just needs to up the aggression stakes against Westwood and Chan is consistant and reliable.
