I make out that our newer fans aren't loyal enough yet to come to these games. And with performances like this one, I doubt much will be changing soon. Heck, some long term speccies can't even be a4sed to attend when it's on the box.

After listening to Browns "correct" rant regarding last weeks incident from O'loughlin on Brown
IMO you would have expected far more today from those self same Enforcers that he was referring to.Warrington bullied your side more today and not one of your lot stood up to them,where were these enforcers today?

Brown should either say he's going to stay or he should jack it now. For all the noises about it not affecting performance the display clearly screams a different answer. I didn't think I'd ever see us play so ineptly again after how far we have come in recent years. I was wrong.
It has taken years to get bigger crowds and us moving forwards. It can be undone in weeks. I'm afraid to say the club has made a huge balls up in recent weeks and needs to take action NOW to rectify it before all our progress is completely undone. The fans are fickle. The home numbers today were embarrassing and it was nigh on empty at the end.
Topping it all off for me were the Wire fans after the hooter asking Brett to give them a wave. That to me is an indicator of what a huge balls up the club have made. I am gutted. Absolutely gutted.'"
Totally agree with the above. If Brown wants to leave, why wait until the end of the season? The commitment isn't there as he knows whatever happens he won't be staying next year and he can just keep collecting his cheques until then knowing his reputation back home will be greatly enhanced on the back of, if nothing else, last season.
I'll continue to go and support the team, I love them and they are a huge part of my life. We have a hard core following, but we do have a lot of daytrippers (as proved at the cup final) and glory hunters who won't turn up on a cold friday night against crusaders or salford.
I'm well pi$$ed off, I can take a defeat and fair play warrington but we got taken up the poo pipe today. |

That display today was awful to witness, I didn't think Warrington (who were very good) did anything fancy, just kept working away and not coming up with errors - unlike ourselves who looked like the proverbial startled rabbits in headlights. Some of the mistakes such as failing to play the ball, not finding touch, penalty from the kick off, were basic errors that shouldn't happen at this level. Some (most??) players had absolute howlers today.
This has got to be up there as one of the worst performances I've seen - and I've seen some bad ones over the years - so something must be going wrong, maybe it is all the future uncertainty??
I left on 71 mins (the first time I have EVER left a game early) as I couldn't face the stick I'd have received from the Warrington fans. As for the 'Hodgson is a Wire' chants today, he might as well have been.......
Roll on next week where we will find out if it just was 'A bad day at the office'
