Was that him who was doing all that aggressive finger pointing & swearing at some Giants fans towards the end of the match on the Kilner Bank side? Then he stormed off down the steps? I wondered what all that was about...I actually assumed it was a disgruntled Widnes fan.

Thats the guy, started by verbally abusing Ken Davy, then threatening all and sundry, the guy was clearly a bit on the thick side and to come to a Giants game dressed like that and to behave like that was clearly seeking confrontation.

Most of us will never know the ins and outs of dealings between KD & Dean Hoyle, but if you read DATM the orchestrators imply they have Hoyles support (though he must officially keep out of it). Well if that guy yesterday is the face of what DH is stoking up then Ken should have nothing to do with them. I believe though that guy was just an idiot who probably looks for trouble/confrontation in all aspects of life.

Personally I suspect that the ringleaders of this campaign do not have Dean Hoyles support, but neither will he outright condemn them, their bile is poison and Dean needs to make sure that hateful mob do not turn on him like they did to Ken, that will not do Town any good.

Most Town fans I know take the same view as most Giants fans - let Ken & Dean sort it out. That may not be a representative sample but it does really seem the best thing to do

let it be known that whatever ken davy's faults ( he is human,he will have some) that we,at the giants will always hold the man in high regard, whether we agree or disagree that the issue between himself and HTFC/HTSA/dean hoyle or whoever else, for what he has done for OUR rugby club and sport in HUDDERSFIELD in general he will always be our messiah!!

Think what was said on here was more of a point to be seen to distance HGSA with them rather than a personal attack on you.
As people who know who will know you are definitely someone with Fartown's best interest's in mind.

They miss the point. ATEOTD the way they are going about things is not going to get them the shares back into HTFC. They go overboard on everything; they think they are more important than they are. They even complain about the time the Leyton Orient game got cancelled like they could do a better job. It's a reflection of the way things are going generally with the press etc. They interfere and escalate things where there is just no need to get involved at all. Why have a molehill when you can have a mountain and pontificate like you're the worlds expert on everything when in reality you know sweet FA about anything.

Had these guys kept their big, ill-informed beaks out and tried to basically bully and intimidate their way to get what they wanted it could have all have been over now. We'll never know for sure but what we do know is that Ken Davy doesn't like taking crap from neanderthal oiks with delusions of grandeur.

This really made me laugh when I read it in the paper today. They invented the world and everything in it, didn't they? Like the rest of the universe should sit cross-legged on the floor with fingers on lips whilst they lecture everyone on how things should be done.

Talk about absolutely no self-awareness at all.

In my 6 or so previous posts on here I posted nothing but facts that I CLEARLY stated could be backed up in the press and through official statements. I then said anyone wanting to challenge what I put should reply with facts and not some here say propaganda because your chairman can do no wrong in your eyes.

So it really is beyond me that you say bull when if you want to go back and quote my posts and challenge the bits you assume to be 'bull', I'll be able to back them up. Each one.

As I stated on DATM I really don't give a whether the Giants get on board or not, I can't see too much of a benefit to it. I posted where I was coming from and backed it up, the only legitimate response I got that somewhat answered the points I made was 'He rescued the club and legally took control of the shares, so he can do whatever he wants with them, and why shouldn't he?' Which is a fair enough response. Can't argue with that view.

End of the day you don't have any share in the stadium that was built for you either. It may be all cushty now but with the way things are going in sport there may well be a time when you're desperate for investment or to be saved and a sporting club with no share in the stadium they play in is far less an attractive prospect than one with (look ar Stockport County for an example)

Actually it was more to do with the fact that they could have carried out a pitch inspection the day before which would have saved our fans the 190+ mile journey which turned out to be made in vain when they decided to call it off on the day of the game, when many were already on their way.

It's thinking ahead, it's a recession, it's considerate.

They did a pitch inspection the day before, it was playable. Alas the world carried on turning after that and the situation changed. Weather changes, recession or not.

Think you need to have a look at some other sports this weekend! Hull FC fans spending hundreds to go to the south of france and even though the ref was confident it would go ahead the night before it was postponed only hours before ko, Stade de France tell those 10000 Irish fans again spending a lot of money who come from a worst hit financial country than ours and their match being postponed only minutes prior!!! And what about those Middleborough fans travelling down to Ipswich and only getting to see 37 mins of the game!! Think you need to look at the wider picture!!
