Sam is a very good player. I don't care who he plays for tbh. If he played for Hudds I'd hold the same opinion of him. He's one of those kids who thinks no-one has the right to tackle him and he is constantly on at referees to send players into the bin for 10.I've seen him do that a few times, along with Briers and Westwood too. That kind of thing is just poor.

It's a real shame imo, as the lad is clearly talented enough not to have to resort to that kind of petulance. That's the bit that annoys me personally.

And FWIW, booing a player who is representing our country at international level is pathetic.

Like I said if Tomkins is that strong to dominate 2 or 3 tacklers to make them stay on him and win a pen hes a strong lad!

Briers moans at refs, Graham does the same, Wellens love to wave his hands and moan. Sinfield tries to ref his games non of these get booed!!!!

Who said 2 or 3 tacklers? It's one defender, he clamps his arms or legs around them in the tackle. Probably hard to see at a game but when you see the games on tv it obvious.

Noticeable but the ref missed it and Tomkins didn't say a word he just got on with it as per usual.
