It is not a buy. It is a small piece in a RL paper.
I did not read any reports about 'flogging Robbo'.
However if we accept this gossip as gospel then the game of speculating about fees / salaries and 'impact on others' can go on.
If Wakey are considering letting him go to someone it suggests that their poor gates are starting to bite.

None of you know Danny,all you know about him is whats written on here or in the tabloids,i personly do and he would be a great addition to our squad he is the best half back in this country at the moment and has the best kicking game in any league in the world.Leave it to the coach i think he knows whats best for the club and if he wants Broughy we should all go along with that.

I Think you have a great squad and have picked up some quality players like Hodgson, Wild, Robinson and brought some good young lads through the ranks like Lawerance and cudjoe. However you can never stand still and need to keep improving.
Signing Danny Brough would be great addition to the squad and if you do get him adds alot more option to your style of play and attacking qualities.

for me brough is one of the best players in the league and i would love to see him in a giants shirt. i do think brown and robinson have been qualitity for most of this season but brough does bring something different.

as a cas fan i had 2 seasons of brough and he masterminded our return to superleague in national league one but even after that i wouldn't want him back at cas.
the lad is a trouble causer, i'm not talking about off the field as i don't know what he is like apart from the rumours you here, but on the field i do know he is a trouble causer.
if the game is going against his team then he lets his temper get the best of him and can ruin a teams chances of coming back, you would think he would learn but he hasn't through all his career. i'm sure some of you will remember him being sent off in 2006 when we played you at the galpharm because things weren't going our way.
when we were in national league one, matterson dropped brough in the middle of the season because his attitude stank and he was bringing it into the games and causing trouble.
in more recent times, just the other week when cas lost to wakey he was losing his temper and nearly coming to blows on a couple of occasions just because the ref became a little whistle happy in cas' favour.
there is not doubting his talent which is of the highest quality but i think for your dressing rooms sake you don't want him

if you can't take a bollocking if you done something wrong in the game and can't get over it then there something wrong with your attitude, they are pros at the end of the day |
