seb (interchange prop)
ferguson (rotate him with hinchy and move lawrence to loose)
taai (interchange prop)
the rest will get there chance when injuries come along, think we have a good squad n if the key players keep fit most of the season we will go very well. For the record i do rate oli roberts but his chance will come again was a hard choice leaving him out. Also picked my team if all fit and available as i know mamo probably wont be ready until march time and gaskell is always an injury doubt.'"
i would prefer to see taai in the second row but yes he can play prop too... but having clough, mason and smith as out and out props id go with one of those

Would it be fair to say that Leeds were already promoted in that middle 8s fixture,so the away support was less?

| Quote: Durham Giant "O,Brian is a good signing.
Hull fans, Leeds fans all wanted him.
He is one of the few players Bulls fans wanted to keep.
Thank god we have brought in hungry players and moved on some lard s.
Other than what happens at centre I am pleased with the comings and goings so far this season.'"
Agree with this.
My only concerns are -
Left centre Gaskells defence and injury record.
Prop - a lot will fall on Rapira as the 'senior' prop. Clough has plenty of experience including SL experience but hasn't played SL for a while. Not a fan of prop / second rowers playing prop. Ta'ai should be nowhere near prop. Ikahihifo has played prop alongside Wakeman at the Cutters so may go well there. A few question marks
there as we lost the battles down the middle too often last year.
We need to get off to a good start as we have a bank of tough games about 5-6 games in. As Mamo and Wakeman won't be up to speed until that time we don't want them coming into a team already struggling near the bottom of the league.
Other than that reasonably optimistic.

i noticed on the website it has taai has a prop/backrower now but i know what you mean by out and out props. Thought taai went well at prop when he played there.

| think some people are reading into squad numbers that have been given out too much, we know they might not play the exact position that the number suggests
wakeman seems a direct replacement for huby so no problem him going straight in the team if he is ready to go and shows up well in training
wakeman and mamo have come here to prove themselves i feel which is good for us, not coming just for the pay packet

| Well Boomer, if Stone considers Wakeman to be the best prop for the job, why would that be a critisism ? He wouldnt be walking into a starting shirt but, he would be worthy of it.

They can- but if they play Sunday- then find that the following game has been switched to Thursday you either have to switch another game also- or have a short turn around.
You will see, now you are in the big boys league, where you are playing week in week out against other full time pro teams the difference it can make if one team has 4/5 days recovery whilst another team has 8.

Atm - the 2017 fixture list doesn't show a 4 day turnaround for any one team.
Don't forget, short turnarounds will always occur anyway, at worse a 5 day turnaround. There is no team that plays on a Sunday then on a Thursday.
If what i suggested that all teams played at the weekend other than when on sky, then if you played on Thursday, then your previous game would've been played on a Saturday.
I can't see a problem with it.
