I would seriously take the armband off him now, even if he remains captain within the group, so he does not talk to the ref at all even if he does direct the team. It is now a weakness being targetted by the opposition with a view to getting his hackles up so much that he talks himself into 10mins.

McDermott is another deluded coach who thinks everyone else apart from his club is trying to spoil games and slow the PTB down to gain an advantage. One of the big things that needs to be stomped out two instances one by ferres on push by Connor. Ferres ok aiton was moving backwards and he put some force into the push but Connor....well a gust of wind would have had more force behind it! Viewers saw it and commentators saw it so punish it!
