I think rookie full back in super league would be a huge gamble it depends what the ambition is if Grix is the regular starter that will tell us exactly what the ambition is

I was talking with Scott Grix the other night, I missed the fact that he had got a playing contract with Hudds, Genuinely thought he was going straight into a coaching role, he was telling me next season for him that all his concentrating on playing for Hudds, Woolford sold him the opportunity at length that he would play at Fullback.

Not too sure what options you have in that position, but I would of thought that you probably have players in front of him tbh. On the other hand I think he will be a real asset in your coaching team, smart when it comes to rugby and genuinely nice bloke that has a lot of time for the youngsters.

Grix could prove to be an excellent coach but he was nowhere near good enough 2 years ago as a player. Once again the lack of information from the club leads to speculation on his role.

Who says he wasn't good enough as a player? Look at the defence stats when he played v when he didn't play. He was well thought of by other players (and now by Woolford) Some ignorant fans on here were biased against him.

Very strange goings on even by the standards down there where little or no information is given by the clueless chief exec but everything is leaked anyway. Either Woolford is a genius with some stellar signings to come or we have accepted that London will be bottom and Ken’s aim is to lose as little as possible. To those who think Grix will add to and improve the team take a look at all the big games he played in and what the outcome was in those games.

When Mamo says what he says he probably means a club where they have a proper kit launch, market season tickets etc etc. While he was injury prone at times at least he was exciting to watch and provided some entertainment an important factor in attracting new support, if Grix is the 1st choice 1 I can’t see fans flocking in despite his great organisational qualities

25 games in two seasons just isnt enough from mamo.

when he was fit at the back end of last season he couldnt get back in the team at times too. we have other options now
