| Loss to KR a real blow to our top 8 hopes BUT keeping the faith. Big home games to come and still in with a chance. Only Catalans in good form so why not us to get ahead of Wakey and keep Leeds below us. Only downer is the points difference meaning nothing but wins will do now realistically but stranger things have happened. Toughest run in for us so cannot be any complacency which may work to inspire the team. 3 cup finals effectively.

| you pretty much need 10 wins to make the top 8.
said it all alongm left ourselves too much to do with a poor start, this season has been a mirror image of last season with upturn in form midway through the season, may just scrape the top 8 but need two more wins.

| Playing as we are, there is no reason why we shouldn`t beat Cas away.

Certainly they are no better than Wigan, But it is at Cas and that's not easy for any side.

One more win only secures it if it's against Wakefield. We could end up 9th if Wakefield lose tonight, Leeds go on to win their remaining games, they they win V Hull, we beat Cas(one more win) , but lose to them in the last game!
Basically no matter what happens tonight we can secure top 8 by beating wakefield now, it's just a matter of whether its Leeds or Wakefield that we would consign to the middle 8's at that point.

Leeds showed how and how not to beat Wakey in the same game.
Had they kept up the high tempo game in the 2nd half I think they would have won.
Their kicking it out of play in the 2nd half didn’t make sense against some huge Wakey forwards best to keep dropping it on the line and keep them playing although Cuthbertson and Garbutt looked k******d late in the game.
The big thing for me is how fit we are since Bumper came back it showed on Friday when we went down to 12 and our defence held its pattern against a Wigan team that’s been the bench mark for fitness too

| Yep we look much fitter now. I think the togetherness and positive attitude contributes to this too.
Not a great result for us last night. Would have been nice to have had that extra bit of cushion if wakey had managed the win. Still in our hands though!

Leeds have got their fitness wrong this year- they have lost quite a few games in the final
20 minutes when theyve been in front.
It helps that agent ferres has got bigger and dumber too.

| If it goes to a last game shoot out between us and you, I think you will win assuming Brough plays. You might win without him, but he manages a game superbly which is something we are sadly lacking, so if he plays I only see one winner

| Two games left- the game against Cas is crucial. Win it and we are definitely safe- lose and it’s a nervous final week. Hull are in deep trouble- Sneyd Connor and potentially kelly out on top of their other injuries means a home win for wakey I feel. If that’s the case they are safe and going into our game Wont have any nerves.
If we win against Cas then turn wakey over in our patch yet again, and with a couple of other results going in our favour and we could potentially be 5th going into the split!

Yes its all quite interesting but lose two and if results don’t go our way we could finish 10th on points difference !!
No negative just a total analysis of what might happen in both extremes.
We are due a good performance at Cas be nice if it’s Friday .....

| Why not give Saints (or whoever is in front after 23 games) the hub cap and reset everyone to zero. They do that in the middle 8's and ther is much more interest in that comp then the super 8's which is against what teh RFL is looking for. To pre-empt comments about not fair on Saints, what about Leeds finishing well ahead of Widnes and Toronto finishing well ahead of their rivals ??
