Halifax need too after last season! seem like a club going backwards for the last few years now

All down to Karl Harrison. We were terrible last season but we still finished third. Richard Marshall has made a tremendous difference already.

weather forecast not looking good for this game, freezing temps and snow expected, could be off knowing our luck so far this pre season!

Really hoping this game goes ahead! Don't want to welcome hull under cooked! Although not the same but we have been using our academy lads in games so that's a small plus!
Would like to see the first team put out first then see how they run out for a good 30 mins before the chopping and changing occours

shame for the younger lads who will prob not get the chance to show their stuff now with the seniors.

We asked bulls to play on monday, tues or weds but they refused..

trying to fix up another friendly now but think that would prove difficult!

Just read on Examiner some comments from Anderson saying it could work out alright not playing this friendly.

"...we had Ben Thaler refereeing and he guided us through what the officials are looking out for, while (match officials coach) Ian Smith had his thoughts on what Ben was doing. After the game, we went back to the Giants Training Centre and reviewed what had gone on with both Ben and Ian. We ran through some clips and they talked a bit more about the things the referees will be looking at next season. We’re really grateful for their time and their help."

Always seemed to give away cheap pens last year but sounds like this session with Thaler has proved useful in curbing that!
