Confirmed. Great player, great pro. Will do well for you lot and will be your main prop. Better then crabtree in my opinion. Sad to see him leave.

| For me the best all around prop in the league along with Chris Hill, and hitting his peak at 28. Great signing for us. Should be good up front next year if Mullally and Johnson can kick on too.

| Great signing brings a lot of agrression and is great at offloading keeping the ball alive. Him and Crabtree should work well together. Just looking at their stats for the season and they are very different players.
tackles misses runs metres average gain tackle bust offloads
Huby 544 29 332 2154 6.49 33 36
Crabtree 665 23 374 2636 7.05 69 16

| should complement what we have quite nicely. I suspect that young learmonth will be one to watch if he gets his chance next year too.

| So why have we signed Huby when Eorl's not worth his place???

| good signing, getting him in his prime and looks like a replacement for crabtree when he leaves/retires.. still got another season with us at least so shall look forward too them both being on the field!
huby reminds me abit of danny sculthorpe in the way he plays with the offloads and passing he does, anderson seems to think he will compliment our team well
looking at the stats between huby and crabtree... crabtree wins hands down apart from the passing/offloading side of hubys game.

| Crabtree a stats are amongst the best in Super League, arguably THE best
Anyone who says he isn't a world class prop should go watch rugby Union and give up understanding RL

Not if you take into account the number of games they have played.

| i dont have number of games to hand but i am sure it is very similar. He has not only made more metres in total he is averaging more with every carry.
I think Crabtree is just about the best prop in SL. Maybe the only one who i rate higher is Chris Hill.

like i say crabtree wins hands down in most areas! cracker of a player but still some dont see it but they are the usually the same ones who dont see what lawrence brings to the team either.
anyway be good to see them both in the same team next season.

| Off loads are the biggest thing I think he'll bring us and something we often lack, certainly in the frequency he shows in those stats anyway.
