The pitch does look good at the Shay - it always amuses me when the bloke comes out to sort the divots; but overall they do a cracking job.
The pitch at the Galpharm had recovered well after the end of the football season (centre spot and both goals) and looked really good just before they dug it up.

| Per OS there will be some build up for the next home game, with tickets on special promotion £10 adults, should bring in a decent crowd - as long as HKR bring their usual 3 million
I think it's fantastic value even the £170 tickets, 13 games and a 4th Round cup game.
The clubs is doing a grand job increasing the fanbase and helping supporters grow the club, if we want to get to the crowd levels at Wigan, Leeds, Hull et al then this shows some excellent marketing innovation in my book.

| I'll always buy my season ticket Because I know it makes a difference to the club if the money is already there at the start of the season but this year with all the deals there have been it would have been cheaper not to- friend of mine lost his job so didnt buy one as usual - with all the bring a buddies hes cadged and special deals hes saved a fortune! Just hope it doesnt put people off buying next year.

| There is a sweetener for season ticket holder though if you buy a ticket for a friend you get a £5 gift voucher for the shop not much but something as it's been well documented about the ease at which some get free/cheap tickets for every match in recent years especially when they were sponsored by the uni! Upsetting many season ticket holders!

| I'm a season ticket holder and i would much rather have a large crowd which could/should lead to a better atmosphere than the club reimbursing me in some way.
