In your opinion would winning a challenge cup or reaching a grand final actually elevate your club above the rhinos?
we've actually reached 8 grand finals and have won 6 of those,we have also played in 5 world club challenge games and have been champions 3 times
So imo you need to come back when you've actually done something of note other than winning a league leaders shield and then come back again when you've done it again and again etc etc

More to the point your club have to actually give the play offs a bit of a serious effort rather than just bending over and taking it where it hurts, Because your clubs record is appalling in play off footy tbh would you not agree?

Sadly for you it's not where you finish in the final league table that counts,If I only use this season as an example as to why we are still above you lot its due to the fact that we've actually won something this season in winning the Challenge Cup

i think what jools is trying to say is that, huddersfield as a club have won things over and over again, just not in the super league era, which is what i think you're referring to?
as a leeds fan, i get that, as your club won very little between 1972-2004 when you won the grand final for the first time.
what leeds achieved in those years was phenomenal, no doubt, but you have had plenty of lean years too.

I dont give a fig about what we won in the last century.

Most of the people who can remember the giants winning anything are drawing their pensions now.

I dont care about where we once were but where we are going.

I want to see us winn something not read about it or list to Crackers telling ua baout it.

Catalans Team had their flights booked straight after the game so they wouldn't agree to delay the game to 8:30. If it was to be moved to Sunday the winner would have to play Sunday then Thursday so this wasn't an option either.

I can't imagine many of us would have been able to manage the situation much better than they did with no power/no PA system to keep staff around the ground informed etc. Credit to the staff who worked their ar$es off on Friday. I know most people missed 5-10 minutes, but I'm just happy everyone got in safely.

On that last point, Jools / you/ Dan/ Ivor /Boomer and many many others have called me a moaner / a pessimist / lacking optimism / and such .......etc etc in the past and the posts are there ! I claimed "factual" - not critical

Whilst it gives me little pleasure to read same -- I note from recent posts that as some of you too reach more mature years and experience more years of frustration and disappointment, the tone of some critics posts are drifting ever so slightly nearer my viewpoint .......!?
