Shocking tackle. Shocking ref performance all round-Bentham either bent or naive to the spoiling tactics from hull.

Bentham had a shocker! Missed the knock on in the build up to your try and also the shoulder by Ellis!

Was too far away behind the sticks to have an opinion on the Robinson tackle but Bentham was a joke the play the ball for both sides was a farce as he totally ignored lying on and offside all game.
Great battling two points though as Hull had far more possession and probably deserved something from the game.

Bentham was awful. Regards Ellis challenge, was good hit from what I saw but will have to see the replay. If it was shoulder charge, Eorl's clear shoulder charge on Miller afterwards cancelled that one out.

Had enough possesion to win it but bloody clueless in attack AGAIN.As for Bentham..he was poor for both teams,didnt see the Robinson tackle but what happend when O'meley scored as Miller seemed to get a bit of attention and thought Crabtrees was a shoulder charge but like i say,Bentham was very poor.

we had to dig deep to win that didn't we?
don't think either side will be happy with the way they played, obviously the heat didn't help the handling or intensity levels, but still thought a draw would have been a fair reflection.
happy with the 2 points though and we showed we can grind a win out if we have to, as daz says we would have lost that in the past.

as for the officials, well poor,IMO, didn't affect the outcome but both sides had some shockers go for and against them, cant comment on either shoulder charges as I didn't get a clear view, I have praised bentham all year but today I think the heat got to him as well.

as for miller,i didn't see that either but sounds like he was rubbing a few noses in after the try was scored ( literally).

Bentham was awful. He and his crew missed an awful lot of illegal play. I think he was just about evenly bad to both sides.

Yes, our first try did come from a Fergy knock on. But there were lot, lots more mistakes by both him and his TJs - the kick downfield where a Hull player guided it into touch and he gave Hull the scrum!!!
