Just on that drop out point. Not sure whether anyone can clarify the rules here, McDonnell jumped from the field of play to in goal to catch the kick so not caught clean ingoal- when he tried to run the ball out he was tackled on his back and although his upper body was over the line his ball carrying arm / ball I don't think hit the floor over the line. So is this like a "held up" call in reverse which is why the drop was given- or was it just a mistake.

sitting directly behind the goal when mcdonnell was ruled to have been trapped in goal was the wrong decision imo and the game changer, we had just gone in front and it was a huge call by bentham as from his waist up, mcdonnell was over the line! i thought huuds got a few kind calls last night, the crooks no try should've been a drop out from the giants as the giants player who jumped seem to knock on slightly before crooks did, correct decision to not allow the try, wrong decision for tap on the 20! numerous times it was replayed on the screen! as for briscoes' ruled out try, correct call but 99 times out of 100, that would have been given!
thought fc more than matched hudds big powerful pack but it was the clinical finishing that we missed and giants had, no complaints on the result!

it doesn't have to be penalties though does it? a couple of key decisions going against us, one where you scored a try off!

Not quite waist up but his upper body definitely was over the line- but as I asked earlier can anyone clarify whether the ball carrying arm has to be down in the field of play be because his never was.

Equally you have to tot up everything and not just what you perceive to have gone against you.

| not sure wether this is right or not but if the player is tackled by the touchline and his upper body is out and legs and arms are infield then he is still in play, so if you apply that to the incident under the posts then the ref is correct because his lower body is in goal and his upper body off the floor to me bentham got it correct, overall thought he reffed fairly well got all the big calls right.
As for the game thought we were just the better side, hull played well but as previously this year when seen them on sky the seem to fade in last 20 minutes, whereas we seemed to get stronger, i thought we kicked on when fielden and crabtree came back on, murph mom for me he was superb.

disagree about fading in the last 20! briscoes' try was ruled out with 5 or 6 minutes left, just unfortunate it went slightly forward!

It would have to be for that touch judge to see it. Surprisingly he missed one right under his nose.

| To be fair that touchjudge was on his comms to Bentham as soon as the pass was made, it wasn't a delayed decision cos i looked straight down to him to see if he was calling it cos Bentham clearly wasn't going to.

spot on with the last part pal!
as for the calls, crooks knocked on,i could see clearly from my view side on,20 restart was right as the ball was adjudged to have gone dead from a hull player.
the briscoe try was yards forward mate, again from a side on view we clearly saw it travel forward from the moment it's flight started.
as i've said the only thing i think the officials got wrong was the mcdonnell incident.

| Quote: Hobsons Knees "I bet you'd find it a talking point though if they had been 20k there. Crowds like this for the top of "Super" League are very embarrassing for the sport. Roll on when the mighty bulls rise from the ashes and we'll get those glory days of 20k packing Odsal again. In the meantime, Huddersfield should accept that they're a soccer town and know their rightful place in this sport ..... the Championship, and I hope the RL heiracy will take the appropriate action when handing out the next round of franchises ...... I'm not trying to cause trouble here, only stating the obvious!'"

Somewhere in the dust of time rest the bones of the Galilean
He who was spat upon. He whose face was marred beyond all human likeness
Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua
Of he who was made God in a world without Hope.
And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say?
Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say
"Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war": |

Surely not, they were playing Hull KR, there must have been at least 50,000 away fans.
