The baloo out brigade were pretty vociferous after 3 games and there were plenty of threads on here.. We've lost 2 of 13 games.. One by 1 point away at the champions.. Although to be fair we should have won it.
As for doing better? I think we have exceeded most peoples expectations for this season, apart from being top of the league by a streak I'm not sure how he could have done better?

Think the fans need to be more positive, very downbeat on here when we are such a good position, get behind the team!

yes we have been let down many times in the past but right now we should be talking upbeat as everything is still to play for

You talk about basic errors costing us .

Who makes basic errors. who regularly maks basic errors. if they keep doing it then it needs to be trained out of them then they need to be shipped out. If players are not good enough they go.

Who trains, them, who picks them, who recriuts them.


Who gives players new contracts, who recruits players that wont make basic errors.



Do Leeds lose games regularly with basic errors Do Wigan.

If we lose our next seven games by one point in each game with one player making a basic error would that be enough for you.

If we lost Brough our attack pretty much would die as would the results and the season.

I am still not entirely convinced by Anderson.

I still keep my options open.

Let's see what happens for the rest of the season. This is the bit that now counts

Our biggest error maker by a few is brough, closely followed by Ellis, Jerry, Wardle and taai- let's write to the club and demand they are let go....

And as you well know stats only tell half of the story.

PLayers with their hands on the ball more often will often make mistakes more often.

But as you point out those that make mistakes. I would judge the error rate with the positive contribution that they make.

Jerry mistakes but positive contribution.

Ellis the jury is still out IMHO

Wardle at centre jury is still out maybe time to go to 2nd row.

Taai i am not convinced that he will be a loss to us. For every great barnstorming run their is a dropped ball which IMHO negates his positive contribution.

But feel free to continue to see individual positives. We will get better, the players know what to do. that performance was unnacceptable but we will get it right next week. Judge things on a few good games which is as bad as those who judge it on a few bad.

I still am not convinced we are getting better, standing still or other teams are going backwards ( Wire, HKR etc).

Still we will see at the end of the season and judge it then.

Taai is definitely a loss to us

But didn't you ask who made basic errors and if they make them ship them out???
Is it not the players you thought that were making errors... perhaps you'd like to change your tune a little...

WE could put it another way then blaming everything on individual errors is a cop out to provide a smokescreen for more fundamental problems that dont seem to be addressed.

But then again you like a cop out because you justify it regularly enough

What a load of whingers on here. We have been a top 5 side for a number of years now and we are still not satisfied. Teams don`t lie down for us to walk all over them, they know they are in for a hard game, so raise their game against us.
I would like to win a CC or GF, but I am content enough to watch the team win the majority of their league games and finish in the top 4.
People seem to forget we finished top of the pile a couple of years back, and that is more difficult than winning a couple of play-off games at the end of the season.
The players are doing their best, they want to win and play well just as much as we want them to. I think a lot of the critism on here is a bit unfair.

It is about where you set your expectations though. Maybe the attitude above is the attitude of the club.

Being close enough is enough.

In a competition their is first and loser.

How many times do people post on here the onlky way to build the club is to win something.

If they are right and your approach is still the same then it means that the club will just go nowhere but be average in the top 4.

Then when Ken dies we will be er extinct ?????????????????

like i said, i am happy with the season so far as i thought we would struggle to make the top 4 after 23 rounds, we've done that and so that means our destiny is now in our own hands, we don't need to hope other teams slip up etc for us to get to the semi's...

yes i would like us to win every game and every trophy going but it just aint gonna happen, i just don't get people who moan for the sake of moaning, let's be positive, as it stands we are 8 games from the grand final..will we get there? possibly, possibly not, there are 7 other teams thinking the same, but i'm not going to start crying and sulking if we don't get there.

let's be positive, i just don't get the negativity of our fans sometimes!
