| I'd be slightly annoyed if I was a Hudds fan. Had Madge saidvhe was leaving and then joined another SL club for example, id have been livid.
Be a good appointment for the Stains but their fans may not take to his nasty naughty tactics that only ourselves and you guys use lol.

| So is Brown saying Saints are better than us! Personally I think it's bang out of order and if it was me I would sack him now and not wish him all the best. He is going to a rival team and messed us around for 3 years.

Your right. Those 3 years under him have been absolutely rubbish....other than being the best in my memory....

| Well good luck to him when he goes, as he says his job is currently coach for Huddersfield Giants and whilst he's here, I'll give him my full support, we're top of the league and we mustn't let our start slip by as a missed opportunity, NB won't want that neither will Anderson, or the players for that matter.

| People are correct here and we are all entitled to our own opinion.
I thank brown for what he has done for us but he said anderson is taking over as i am returning HOME (meaning oz) but not he is to join saints
Surely us fans are owed an explanation of why he said he was going home and now saints. If he said that he was just leaving giants then it would of been different im sure.
As i said before leave our players alone and i will be ok with him leaving

How about
Roby to loose Forward
Wellens to Second Row
Meli to Prop
Lomax to Hooker
You saw it first here.'"
If he tries that one then the senior players will stop playing for him, we will lose four matches on the spin and he will be fired.

Why - why should we be "owed" anything. Nathan has no loyalties to the giants- he is a guy doing a job. He doesn't have to discuss his families' personal decisions with us. I'm thinking of leaving my job- do I have to discuss my reasons with the parents of the kids I teach? Some people on here are seeing this from a purely selfish pov.

| He owes us nothing he has to put himself and his family first and good luck to him, he's done a great job here and is still our coach until september so we should support him, respect his decision and thank him for everything he has done for this club, and of course wish him well, i cant see how this will affect the players, after all they knew last december he would be leaving the giants so nothing has changed there.

Exactly !!! just remember the Saints job wasn't available nor expected to become available when he made his decision to leave us. did people want him to never work again and support his family because he owes Huddersfield fans that ??
lets get real here.....a superb, previously not available, job opportunity has come up for him after he has decided to leave his current job, is he supposed to say ..."no thanks i cant take the job it wont be fair on the Huddersfield fans if i do ....".

| I don't buy all of the 'putting his family first' arguments.
He was leaving us at the end of last season to return 'home' for family reasons. His family had a personal setback when his house burnt down, so he stayed on for another year and then would go back 'home' to re-settle his family.
Now all of a sudden, he signs a three year deal to stay over here (maybe he is a born and bred scouser!).
Either he has now told his family that 'actually, you can put up with it for another three years' or they have suddenly realised that they love it over here (in which case, does it make sense to uproot the family again and move them to the other side of the Pennines away from any networks they may have built up?). Either you're family driven or your not.
Yes, he has been been a great coach and no, I suppose he doesn't owe us, as fans, anything as we have had some great times under him. However, I believe he owes the club, and Sir Ken, a great deal.
The 'will he, won't he' saga has rolled on for two years and we finally got an answer in that he was going 'home', but now he isn't...
If I was a prospective employer, I'd have serious issues in the trust department.

| That's Saints problem now though !!
Like i have said this opportunity wasn't available to him when he made his decision, maybe him and his family saw it as too good a job to turn down - he will be under more pressure there due to Saints winning record in this era.
plus he may not have wanted to stay with us any longer..he may have wanted a fresh challenge.
At the end of the day he has given this club 4 years of briliant service and put us firmly back on the RL map, were here to stay for a while because of him i feel, do we really need to question what he chooses to do next?
