I can second that for you !
Scott wants to be playing in prefered position of scrum half, with brough at the helm for us he has no chance of gettint the number 7 shirt on a regular basis. He also likes to play at full back, but again, he cannot get in there because blaymire is light years ahead of him in that department.
he has got some footballing ability and therefore with that in mind, was pushed into wearing 13 for us, but with demetriou playing at 13, this forced grix out onto the wing - where he is not happy.
with his prefered positions being 1 and 7, it begs the question who will drop out and why? i dont think he is as good a 7 at robinson and he certainly isnt as good a number 1 as brett hodgson...
in all honesty, im struggling to see the sense in you signing grix, he's a squad player and under nathan brown youve moved on a level, couple that with browns contacts in the NRL and the talent in the reserves (hemmingway).... i thought you'd be going for a top class player....

| am sorry but i think we would be taking a step back by signing brad drew
he would be 34/35 if he played for us next season, n personally i think that is way too old for a number 9
he gets injured a lot, n doesnt produce the magic that he has done in the past
dont get me wrong, he was a great player for us when he played for the giants, like someone else said, one of the best aussies we have every had, but if we want to be pushing on next season and trying to overcome the rhinos and saints n putting ourselves in better contention for a grand final/cc final thatn we have done this season, then i think we need to look else where.
we have lunt/carlile/fauimu/robinson that cant fill in as hooker, why waste our money on another hooker which would also take a place on the quota system?
after saying all that though, brad drew is a quality player, but i just think we would be going in the wrong direction by signing him

| I think he has been the best player i have seen in for Fartown shirt and one of only a few players in Superleague who can break a game although his defence can be weak.Would welcome him back with open arms tbh.

Court case at the end of the season, although not heard anything for a while. I have a feeling he will not be back after this season.
Quota wise,
Fa'alogo - Fulton
Drew - Faiumu
If those two are coming in Fooey I would have thought must be on his way out because Hodgson, Lolesi and Fatz are here next season.

Would Drew not be one of those that gets an exemption as he has been here over 3 years

If you watch some Giants games - such as our CC semi final - you will see that our fullback, Brett Hodgson, is often a play maker.
Plus Carlile and McNally coming through.

Not sure he would be a 9.
He has played 19 of 25 SL games. How is that injured a lot?
Most wakey fans say he has been very effective and a gamebreaker.
I do not care about his age only whether he can do a job for us. he can.

| i hope we dont sign any half backs as we should give mcnally a chance, he needs to "bulk" up abit but from what i have seen he has potentiol to be a very good half back. if we have robinson and drew as our half backs, then we will have two of the smallest in the league (and lookalikes)

Certainly deserves credit for that
Brad is a crowd pleaser and can raise the crowd by his sheer presence on the field aka Brandon Costin, Super Stan etc. Not sure if it is a good move or not if he does come back but I think the guy has Huddersfield at heart and therefore will give his all for us if he does return.

| would be a backward step for me, he was a good servant for the club and one of our best modern day signings but surely we can attract someone who is younger and fitter
