There,s probably some logic in their statement, but l carn,t find it.

and part of our problem is the 'newer' fans who have been attracted by this rise in fortunes have too high expectations on the club - they EXPECT us to win silverware whereas some of us longer term fans would love it if it happened but i certainly dont expect it, i dont just follow a team to see them win silverware or i wouldn't have ever been anywhere near a Huddersfield game !!.

People will disagree with me here but i would rather have 4-5000 fans who will support the team no matter what rather than the 'ooh, giants got to a cup final lets start watching them now' type who expect too much from this club !

i think we have more than our fair share of miserable gits at our games !!

my point was the newer fans expect to see success because they've only ever known us as a top 4/5 club with cup finals and semi final appearances so anything less is seen as failure to them whereas to us longer term fans a lot of us are still amazed that we're seeing the club occupy such lofty heights and are still enjoying being here.

If crowds drop down to 5000 averages then I think Ken will be more than disappointed. The doubling of season ticket prices at a time of economic gloom and disappointing performances will certainly mean some sort of a drop in attendances, hopefully not too much. I can see it now, cheap deals next season to try and win back some supporters in hope of continuing heading in the direction of the magical 10,000 average crowd figure.

An adult can get a ST in the fantastic media stand for £99! About £7.50 a game. That is still a brilliant deal curteosy of Ken Davy. If that is too much for fans then tough!

With that attitude we should start preparing for life in the Championship.

4 to 5000 fans will not keep us in super league. I for one would not be looking to start following the Giants to whitehaven and barrow and leigh again. I have done that for too long.

If i am gonna spend a fortune on petrol and tickets to see a game of RL i want it to be top quality stuff.

That is why i see and stil think the last four years have been a waste. They were the four years we needed to really cement ourselves in SL and keep the momentum going.

Ken has no choice but to put prices up but the fact it has happened at this time when we have been so dire this season is a disaster.

i wasnt meaning literally, my post was more of an example than actually happening, i would love to see 9-10,000+ here every week !!

then go on to talk about spending £40-50 on a night out getting hammered
ok each to their own, but when you compare, the price of various activities
tv, computer, cinema, booze etc the ST at £200 represents excellent value
of co thats just my opinion, for what thats worth

Sounds to me he was SO embarressed at the state you had got yourselves in, the only plan of action was to "BAIL" you out.

It's great value for an afternoon superleague experience.
People need to get real.

Home or away --you can tell after about 15mins which take the refs have on a game !

If I see an evenly reffed game this season (not bothered who`s won us or them) even televised games - It`ll need to be a crash out in a darkened room !
