| yeh warrington maybe after mamo, on balance i was happy enough he was leaving anyway at the end of last season.
pre season is going to be interesting to see who they play at full back maybe mcintosh and centre maybe wardle ahead of turner and to see who kicks the goals and to see how the half backs work!! fear another slow start for the giants but will see

| Quote: Durham Giant "Stop spouting the party line. He was offered peanuts ( yes it was more than anyone else his age at the club but 20 peanuts is not much more than 10 peanuts).
Our chief exec thought we could keep him on the cheap and that if anyone tried to sign him they would be put off with the compensation fee.
It all backfired when Hull knew how to get a round it so they could offer him more and have to pay no compensation.
Connor wanted to get out of the deal but could not and the only way we could get him back was to pay Hull money to re sign our own player.
Gross incompetence by the club.'"
Party line? i've no more further interest in your club as i have for any, just putting what i was told, no win or loss to me personally or professionally.
For what it's worth i agree it seems there's been a mistake made somewhere.

I'd drive him back to you! Never known a player go off injured so often. We have an abundance of back rowers and I don't think he's that impressive at centre.
His brother looks a player though !

| What is this obsession wakey fans have with our board?
I get the feeling we offered Seb round to make room on the cap- now brough is off to stir the pot at wakey I’d imagine we will look to now keep Seb. Leeds fans seem to think mullaly and handley are coming the other way in a deal.
I’d take Wardle back. He enjoyed his time at hudds and He played his best rugby for us. It’s just whether we need another second row

Don’t be ridiculous. Mullaly fair enough. Wardle is a different thing altogether- he was given an amazing opportunity to play in the best comp I’m the world, and an opportunity for him and his family to spend time in the Southern Hemisphere. I don’t blame him one bit for taking that chance.

| Mulally, no way, he's a luxury player who doesn't graft nearly enough to warrant a spot at prop. He only ever really tries near the line, never see him do the hard yards. Wardle just seemed to lose his way for me when he was switched from centre. At centre with us he knew his role, hit hard straight good lines on the edges, and he scored lots of tries that way. I can see why he was switched to 2nd row, because it's essentially the same job but one man further in, but he's not quite big enough and strong enough for that up against stronger defenders. He was always and should always have been a centre for me, that's where he got his accolades, there where he got noticed. As long as we played him at centre i would liek to have him back, doing what he did well and no tinkering.

| I could imagine a Wardle / Wardle SR / C partnership working pretty well, if he came back at the right price I'd take him, experienced player and still young and might mean we keep Jake for longer

With Senior bros on the wings makes a good back line relatively speaking
