Can't believe it, it's now 4pm and Stone is still in a job after the most embarrassing day in the club's history. Both Stone and Thewlis should hang their heads in shame. The Fartown performance yesterday, or lack of it, was a total disgrace. For 17 professional players to be beaten by a part-time patched up team is disgusting and unacceptable. Only one direction that we are going and that is down to Championship if we are left with Stone & Thewlis.

the squad is very poor that is down to Thewlis but we have a hopeless coach or coaches yesterday was just a joke a team from the lower division with only 15 players who could play and lose and sack the lot of them players ,coaches the lot

Just wanted to point out that there is a story on a site called RLFC 'Rugby League Fans Club' that suggests Brough could be off to Toronto as he ain't happy.

l,m sure if the Giants sacked Stone tomorrow, they would have no shortage of applicants for his job, there has been quite a few nominated for the Saints.
Stone has a good reputation for bringing on youth, didn,t the Knights academy get to their grand final ?
l doubt he will resign, l doubt he is in demand anywhere as a head coach,To sack him would cost a lot of money.
lf it was my call, i would offer him a job coaching the youngsters, on a reduced contract of co, bring in a new team. that way we don,t waste money, and the man does what he does best, maybe even have another look at him down the line ?

ha so you think stone would take a reduced contract and step down to junior level...wont happen but good thinking
