Earl and all the Players know the Truth.
And Paul Anderson. You go on believing Lies but Don't post untruths. You are being Played by the Club management, quite funny that.

| C'mon Jools Carney got his visa lets not hear your apology instead give us what a waste of space he is or glad we didn't get him etc...
If nothing else it allows you to continue to froth at the mouth at all things Salford.

| I thought it was a good game, just that Salford looked a little more slick with the ball. You mixed the play up quite well, but some of your last tackle options were poor and Hinchcliffe needs to learn how to pass

| What a bad day yesterday was for jools hey, first hearing Carney got the visa she promised everyone he was never getting then his new team minus (one of the best halfs in SL) beat hers!!!!! Oh dear.
Good win for us wasn't vintage but we defended well, and stuck in there when it looked like Hudds had all the momentum. Leeds up next I can see us turning them over, worse Leeds squad in years.

With all due respect Jools, you've made it your mission to slag the Salford club, fans, owner & various players off at every opportunity on both our board and the VT so it's only fair you get it back from the t*rd you've been spouting for months now. I'm sure you're probably revelling in the attention tho tbh.
Back onto the game.... I thought it was a decent match. Broke into a cold sweat every time your big boys (I won't attempt to spell their names! ) got their hands on the ball as they are absolute beasts and would love to see them both in a Salford shirt (maybe we can offer them a ridiculous wage and tempt them away like we did with Kopczak eh Jools? ). I think your pack will compete with anyone this year if your interchange steps up and you still have plenty of firepower in the backs to cause teams problems. Leeming looks a cracking prospect and could be the find of the season. Looking at all the match stats there was very little between the teams and think both will be lurking around the 8th/9th spot come the split. Based on tonight I'd hope we both have more than enough to avoid the MPG. Looking forward to see how T Carney fits into our side when he's fit. Lui looks a little off for me so should be looking over his shoulder as he looks likeliest to make way ATM.
Finally a quick note on the Josh Jones incident. As much as I can't stand Brough and almost want to justify JJ's actions as Brough is arguably the biggest play actor/cheat in the game, I can't. It was poor and it needs stamping out. The RFL needs to clamp down and quickly before it gets even more out of control. Not sure they can do anything retrospectively about last night's incident as they'd then have to pull a number of players into the dock for similar offences but they should issue a directive to all clubs that anyone caught deliberate milking a penalty that way gets an automatic 10 minutes and it will soon stamp it out.
Good luck for the season and look forward to seeing you lot back at the AJ Bell for the return fixture.

| well the salford bogey team continues for us, 4 years on the trot now so not a big surprise we got beat!
frustrating night though, got ourselves back into a few times but seemed to be always chasing the game and cant do that in those conditions
if only those finals passes went to the right man we could have got the win
both teams got 4 tries, salfords kicking was alot better, o brien was excellant
positiives in ikahihifos performance again, also leeming 2nd half and mellor is looking good at centre
hinchcliffe had some poor pass option and we seem to be sticking with this hooker/loose forward role

He's sticking Hinch in there for the d around the ruck early, understandable, but his dummy half distribution is just so slow and unimaginative.
As for Kruise in there later, wow just wow, what a revelation.
Think more important for Rickster now though is the decision making of the halfs,of when to hit front runner, when to send it behind front runner, for me if you take don't put the points on the board when the overlap is on it just builds the confidence of the opposition. It's worth taking the odds against an interception.
We have come a long long way in a short space of time under Stone's coaching.
