| Eorl, robbo, wardle and Jerry were fantastic last night.
Taai and Bruno very solid defensively. Taai put a real defensive shift in for his first stint. Leroy made two poor reads one where he should have gone for the gap instead of the high kick, the other for the missed tackle on Solomona at the end-no doubt those will be what certain people will focus on- other than that he had a great game and Cas struggled to contain him.
We are still conceding too many on the edges though.
I'm somehow disappointed with the performance. We played very well in patches but let in some very soft tries. We got the two points and won by Three tries- but somehow it felt closer. Scored 8 tries- and it could have been at least 10- BUT We cannot be conceding 5 tries in a game- imagine what Leeds or Wigan would have done to us!!!
That Connor try should be try of the month! Even Anderson got to his feet and clapped- may have even been the hint of a smile too!!!!!

| Well, thats us just about out of it now. Enjoyed the game, I still don't know what else you guys have to do to get the support that the team deserves. Good luck with the rest of the season, and if we don't make it to the 4 (very unlikely we will obviously) I'll be shouting for you in the semis. Hope you can go all the way and put a different name on that SL trophy.

This made me smile - not sure if it's ironic or done tongue in cheek!
I thought a lot of our players were very good in patches last night.
Jerry was awesome as always and I think Koppy had his best game for a long time.
Wardle looked more at home in the centre too, but there were lapses in concentration from a lot of players that would cost us in a SF.
I'm still undecided about Huby though. In my eyes, he needs to play more like a prop and not a half. He wasn't missed when he went off. Taai on the otherhand...

| I disagree about Huby. The vision and pass for Ta'ai was class. He carries the ball in 2 hands which delays defenders and get him extra yards and he has a decent offload every now and again. More importantly at the moment we have 3 really strong props and Smith is improving and is becoming more well rounded, so we are maintaining our intensity throughout.
Nice to see cas remember their kit last night, although they did forget their flag!!!

| yeh not the complete performance and there were lapses on our part but we got the two points against a very spirited team, looks like we will be playing in the semis now which is brilliant
mcgillvary and cudjoe terrorised them lastnight, murphy and connor didnt want to be out done and werent far behind, little bit worried about connor in defence though, need to tighten up if we are to reach the grand final
entertaining game lastnight!
pleased for eorl too getting a try on his 400th appearance for us

| I am from Donny, but for some reason I have a soft spot for Huddersfield.
I love to watch them on Sky and always want them to win.
Even if they were playing Leeds who I also love to watch.
I thought that they showed the kind of slackness at times that will stop them beating the likes of Wigan and Co when push comes to shove.
Connor despite his go forward and good try was made to look a pudding in defence for two of the Cas tries.
He stood there like Mr Blobby in the line, like a fat guy who couldn't move or react.
Work in progress there.
Leroy despite his sublime offloads could do so much more in attack if he just believed and went for it.
And so on ... nitpicking I know, but I want them to be ruthless and win the thing!

I think it was around the 65th minute, Connor was taken off and Wardle moved to centre and Ta'ai inside him in 2nd row. This had an immediate difference as Wardle scored but it looked to also shore up that left hand defence. It would suggest that Baloo had the same opinion as yourself!

| some good individual performances last night, our edge attack was very good i thought.
had our usual sloppy spell just after half time, but we were always in control once cas lost control after going 10-0 up.
people complaining we aren't playing well, but no team plays well every game for 80 minutes,to me ,we are showing our credentials but not letting our poor spells affect us too much and still have enough to finish games, as we showed last night.

An interesting game, some slick and sublime passing and extremely good tries, coupled with some abysmal lapses in defence.
As some on here have said, not good enough to beat the so called big sides but we weren't playing them last night. It was entertaining stuff and I would much sooner we won 40-26 than 14 - 0.
The lapses in defence weren't really what we have been doing, so not necessarily too much to worry about, The great thing for me was we showed a bit of class in the attack, when the crowd are jumping to their feet ,you know you are doing something right. Onward and upwards.

| Yep, we seem to switch off in defence quite a bit, which is fine if we're scoring more points than they are.
but at this stage of the season when winning is what counts, i would take five 1-0 wins!

Not absolutely but I'd say so even if we lose all the rest as cas have to make up
150 points difference. If cas win then we could still drop out if we lose all 3.

| But points difference between us an Saints is now only 18 in our favour. So will have to keep winning and stop giving sloppy tries away
