Go back and watch the replay and look at our line, any good pass would have put them in down that side and nothing anyone could do

Regardless of the numbers IMO Jerry was stood too far infield too close to leroy. he could almost touch leroy if he'd outstretched his arm. If he's been a little further out between them they could have covered more of the field and perhaps forced them to pass back inside by which point our defence could have slid across.
We seem to concede on his outside a fair bit.

So he sticks to his line and Cats throw a shorter ball that splits the pair and were all complaining that Jerry was too wide - simple fact is we numbered up wrong and the winger gets the blame for the centre defenders not moving up

All teams have a side they like to attack down, usually the left side as its the most natural side to pass to

This means Leroy and Jerry face the most attacks from the best strike players in an opposition side

It's why Murphy scores so many because it's our prefferred line of attack

some people forget that we've got the best defence is SL and for the last few seasons we've been there or there abouts with conceding the least try's throughout the season. Everyone has faults in their game but generally Jerry is up there with the best in both attack and defence and the team stats will prove this. Mistakes will always happen in sport as you've got a split second to think and this will sometimes results in trys being scored or bombed.
