Actually thinking about it the game is going soft. Jim Mills & Mike Nicholas were sent off 35 times between them. Nicholas once managed to break Fevs Peter Smith's jaw as the players swapped ends before the match started. It would be a good Q for Sue Barker as Smith was the first man to be substituted before a match started.

It reads like the whining of a 10 year old.

Apparently Chase was trying to prevent an off load (sic). Well crippling a player will definately do that.

Chase is a friend of Ferres.

He hit the hamstring and the injury was caused by the other players twisting in the tackle.

It was the other tackling players fault as they didn't do their jobs right.

However the cherry on the cake has to be the last one.

The officials could have shouted held earlier.

So basically it was the fault of everyone else apart from Rangi Chase.

I'm just surprised he didn't blame the RFL for scheduling the game for Good Friday or an imaginary deity for causing it to rain.
