The ticket office told me it was delayed !!!

It was all very confusing but think the club did everything they could. I would say everyone bar sky would have just delayed the kick off. It was the sensible option when you have thousands waiting to get into one stand.
But sky being sky wouldn't want to be delayed. We was just walking down the stairs of the right hand side of the BR when the crowd roared at Jodies try! mass rush ensued as none of us had realised the bloody thing had started!
If it wasn't on Sky I am certain the club would have just delayed kickoff so there wouldn't be a potential of anyone getting hurt ect in a rush to ensure nothing was missed on the field!

Nothing to do with Sky. Their only input was to say that if was going ahead, they were OK to broadcast as they had their own power supply. No pressure was put on anyone by the broadcaster. The teams wanted it played, the RFL match commissioner and the officials agreed and away we went.

(But ---daft as it may sound to you DG -- its nice to close your eyes /remember em carrying it round Wembley --smile --and then I regret open em and come down to earth with a b----y great bump!! ) It hurts more as every season passes I can assure you - as you are starting to find out pal!!

But Ill be getting a season ticket ---hoping ---and praying we can make the last few rungs up the ladder again...............................and, hopefully , soon pal -- so that we`re ALL a bit happier!
