| No meast, you are wrong. It means 'zip' and because Wigan Warriors RL have it listed in their Honours anyone suggesting otherwise is 'clutching at straws'. Because that makes sense.....

| Quote: meast "winning the LLS means you finish top of the LEAGUE, therefore winning the LEAGUE! the season is comprised of a LEAGUE , the super league, and then the super league play offs, the team that finishes top of super league are therefore LEAGUE CHAMPIONS.
dress it up or play it down however you like but that's what the LLS is.
winning the grand final means you have won the play off competition to determine the champions of super league,it is a totally different concept to winning the LEAGUE!'"
League Leaders.
There is no such thing as league CHAMPIONS anymore.
Winning the Grand Final means you are the champions of SL. It is the biggest prize of the season.

| Winning the LLS is symbolic if you haven't won it.
It was for us, i'm sure it was for Bradford, Leeds, St Helens and Wigan.
BUT i want the big one, i'd sacrifice a guaranteed 20 LLS for one GF win.

| An LLS would be a sign of progression. We haven't won a GF or got the LLS. Either would be an achievement but the top prize is the GF.

I make you right I think we might be a year or 2 away from being genuine GF winning material but the LLS would be a massive statement and a big step in the right direction.

Definitely, winning the LLS is a statement of intent, it would also give the fans and the players the belief that they're good enough and they don't need to fear anyone.

| Winning the LLS may mean nothing to Leeds, Wigan etc but it DOES mean something to us. Winning this could just be the boost we need to go on and win other things over the coming years so yes we want it! Others can sneer and snipe but there are only 3 trophies available in a season so why not go for it? Nothing will be settled this Friday and I'm sure it will go to the last weekend, which is good for the game surely?

| PA said in his interview that the GF is what he's interested in on an autumn's evening in October, but this week his priority is Friday nights game.
The LLS is a good thing to win but it is not the be all and end all, it's the GF thats the holy grail, anyone saying otherwise is deluded.

At last someone with sense.
If winning the LLS helps you (or at least does not hinder) you winning the GF then it's worth having, why not?
If it fails on the above then it's not worth having.
