| Also said in that piece that KM was NOT in PA's plans for 2013.
Been mostly happy with the hiring & firing from the club in recent seasons myself.
Hindsight etc. but Brett Hodgson was the one I would have definitely liked to have retained, and Daz Griffin. But both of them lads wanted out seems to be the truth of the matter

Very sad to see him go. For years he was our only forward whom the opposition feared [apart from the brief time LOD was on the pitch]. He never took a step backwards.

| 2010 when we played Hull FC at home. Hull came with a huge pack and we were so short of Prop forwards we played Graeme Horne in the front row.
We went 0-18 down at half time but came back to win 32-18 and Keith Mason was my man of the match, the minutes, yards, hits and aggression he showed in that game (along with Griffin) to take the team forward was a fantastic effort.
Will be sorely missed, all the best for the future Keith.

| Some would welcome him back at Saints others are Meh!
He's a good player whether he will be missed will be down to how he plays next year. 31 is not old for a prop.

| So other than he left the Club back in October and there is some legal wrangle going on, is there any indication as to where he might be going?
I have seen speculation about Bradford, Castleford and Wakefield, but nothing seems to be firming up and Mason himself only seems to have confirmed his departure.
I think there are plenty of Widnes fans who would like him to come our way, but I suspect he might be looking to stay in Yorkshire. No doubt as an alternative he could return to St Helens especially as his former coach is now in residence.
Or indeed maybe he will do a "Vinnie Jones" and look to start a Hollywood career, under Micky Rourke's guidance.

| He could well be open to a move over the spine. His lad lives in saint Helen's so it would mean he would be closer to him.

I think Wakey are favourites to get KM. Bulls could be an option, Cas Tigers are skint, can't see him going to Saints but Widnes must be in with a shout.

| Love to see him at Salford, if and when our investment ever materialises, then we're desperately short of power in the forwards

| He was on radio frequency this morning along with Keith senior-
He also talked about last year and said stuff happening seemed to upset the boat (such as kev going) mentioned people getting sacked but didn't refer to himself or what has happened to him personally that means he's going. he again thanked all the fans at the giants for their support and that we had made his job easier over the last seven years-said his agent was looking at options and it should be sorted in about two weeks.

When you read this it would appear Wakey don't remember if they have spoken to KM's agent or not:-

Very strange talk from Richard Agar. Could it be Wakey who have tapped him up and the reason for the dispute with Hudds ?

| I think he crossed swords with Terry Matterson and was frozen out of the side.
