Really...give some examples.
Claiming thewlis 'forced Brown out' to get a transfer fee. You are sooo desperate. You want us to see KB as some 'slave' you are so dumb.

| Brett Ferres to replace Brown?
This could mean there is salary space for some interesting signings. Forget Aussie journeymen - we only occasional strike gold, let's stick with the policy of young English players and promote from within. We have a fantastic crop of youngsters coming through who all went on the Australia tour a couple of seasons ago.

If kevin was still playing HB then I'd be more upset- personally I'd rather have fooey at loose on a regular basis.
We have decent players who can step in at LF - and we get a rather large transfer fee so it's a good move for all- most of all kevs family.'"
Spot on.
Sad some want to use this move as an excuse to besmirch the club.

| A shame, he's been a great servant to our club but he has a family to think about and there happiness is more important than our entertainment.
plus with a transfer fee hopefully we can replace him with someone of better quality in the halves.
Thank for the service Kev and good luck.

Couldn't agree more. We have far too much of an obsession with players from down under in this country.

Why, I wouldn't want to travel from Huddersfield to Wigan to work every day, whether I had a young kid or not.
My brother was offered a job in Liverpool but took demotion to the shop floor to stay in Huddersfield cos he didn't want to uproute his family. Can't see how it's any different for a footballer.

| A few points on this
1) Kev Brown has been a good player for Giants and will be missed
2) Brent Finch (currently maybe not some years ago) is not as good as Brown as has been touted on this thread.
3) Browny has not been playing particularly well this season, a lot of this is down to the Tinkerman trying to turn him into a loose forward.
4) It's fair to say in the big games Browny has failed to show up.
5) No aussies please as a replacement. But which uk number 6 is better.
6) Clearly family comes before career for Kev as franky Widnes are S***te at the moment. Patrick Ah Van - gotta love him but not for the right reasons - comedy gold.
If Giants also let Broughy go then it says to me that it's back to mid table mediocrity, which would be a shame with all the young talent.
As for LOD as captain you must be joking, A great leader but I thank my lucky stars when he's fit to play. Big G has more minutes on the pitch.

Funniest post of the day.
Finch has been outstanding this season.
He's also played State of Origin and won NRL grand finals.
Brown would get no where near at NSW or QLD shirt.

| I think it makes a refreshing change that players like Kevin Brown don't just want to stay at the top clubs but want to take the challenge of moving to a lower team and helping make them better. Same for Nathan Brown as well.

Agree with all this.
I think the lf position will be very fillable - and will open up cash else where for us.

Desperate for what? I have no loyalty to kev brown? You see what you want to see and hate the fact others disagree with you. You come across as a rather bitter individual marsden

Finch would get nowhere near an origin shirt these days either. He's past it and over for a payday. Your one eyedness is far funnier. Are you a member of the Arrogantes as well ?
