| Maybe he have him to Saints at the end of the season. Would be disappointed if we had him back, thought he was very ordinary after an initially very good couple of months. After that he was our 3rd best hooker and then got picked for England!! I suppose he'd be ok for cover and wouldn't take much money as he's running out of options, but I thought Lunt looked ok when he's played, wheres all this bad defence stuff come from, nobody mentioned this when he's played, only now!?
More of a worrying is are we going to tie up Eden on a longer contract? He signed 2 year deal but I'd be gutted if he ends up at Saints.

| Lunt has a tackle completion rate of 89% this season compared to 96% last season. So he has gone significantly backwards in this area which is a concern.
In comparison Tommy Lee has gone from 90% last season to 97% this season which refelcts the better standard of coaching he has been receiveing.
However Scott Moore only has a 89% tackle completion rate so is no better than Lunt in this area of the game.

the difference between Lunt / Moore (though both are on 89%) may be that Lunt has probably been doing lower minutes in a vastly superior team. Given the paucity of cover Moore has probably been doing higher minutes with less quality around him.
In terms of 'scooting' and posing a threat near the line i think an on form Lunt is second only to Roby. In terms of speed and accuracy of pass to first receiver ( + passing in general) and defence Moore is superior. In rugby terms it depends on what fits best with our new way of playing.

| Yes Lunt has only had short spells on the pitch and is still missing 10% of his tackles.
With the style of play been used this year in which we are effecitivly using three half backs at the expense of a forward it is vital the rest of the pack put in a big defencive effort.
I still think Moore has the better all round game than Lunt i am just not sure it would be a good move because of his attitude and past record but if that is what Nathan Brown wants then who am i to argue.

| on moore being a bad lad... if nathan brown can sort brough and mason out he can sort anybody out.
moore would be an extra string to our attack...we have lost lee afterall
regarding lunt, yes a good player but not hit the heights of his first season with us im afraid for whatever reason
would be surprised if he goes though...depends on the salary cap i guess and how much space we have left..cant see moore being on a big whack and prob only get a one year deal

| End of the day the coach knows his players, those that want to wear the shirt or play elsewhere.
Moore knows browny doesnt take any prisoners, he will play for the team. Maybe robbo needs to re charge he's batterys too....who knows he puts his body on the line every week for the cause.

| This is a fantastic signing and one which will truly help us going for trophy's this season
Scott came to the Giants last time after being stagnant at Castleford, and had 2 years left on his current saints contract. He came to the Giants in 2009 and how anyone can say he ran crab like along the line and threw a panic pass is beyond me! He went back to saints and wasn't used right, he moved in with a bad crowd at Widnes, and he's now in last chance saloon. He's got friends at the club also.
Huddersfield have had their fair share of bad boys, Lolesi being one of the worst in recent years!

| He had half a good season with us. And he was also a bit of a tit with the general public. I hope you're right and it does turn out to be a good signing. However, I think I'd be happier if Lunt went on loan and showed form which meant a loan was all it was.

| No one is doubting his rugby league skills - its his off pitch antics which is more worrying. If brown thinks he can stop this then good luck to him. Moore does not need to convince Nathan Brown of a long term deal its Paul Anderson & Kieran Purtil who has also worked with him at Giants & Saints.
I just hope Thewlis/brown & co will ask him to portray himself in better light because his twitter account suggest not - Its one big party!!! Don't get me wrong - I'm not saying he cannot enjoy himself but don't broadcast it to the world.
We also have a very stable squad but I'm personally gutted to lose Lunt for Moore - I really hope Lunt get himself a good deal if rumoured at Leeds and I wish him all the very best!!
As for moore he needs to win me over....

| Not sure on this one.
There is no doubting Scott Moores ability but bringing him in at this stage of the season may bring disharmoy to the team. We are looking strong at the moment and team spirit is obviously high.
Scott Moore or Shaun Lunt....... personally I prefer Shaun Lunt. Think he will bring more to the team than Moore but I trust NB's judgement so we'll wait and see.

| Exactly Trav - with Lee out it was ideal for Lunt to come in and get some game time, Thewlis has said on the OS that he wanted more game time so they have said he can go on loan.......obviously the intention is not there to play him in our side.
As for Scott, i hope this move pays off, cant say i'm over happy but hope NB manages to do 'a Brough' on him.
I'm willing to give Scott a chance.....
