Well a proper rugby league fan will see what Brough offers - or some fans choose not to see the good things and expect miracles ....and then if those dont come then he becomes the scapegoat......Again !!

I was at castleford where two numpties were stood behind me slaging Brough off at every opportunity. Whilst he had a bad game that day they exaggerate deverything bad he did saying he could not tackle etc. Give Brough time. he wa sbound to struggle in ateam that itself is struggling becuase of weknesses in our pack, Playing a game with 4 fit props, our first choice back row and O'Donnell into that and i am sure you will see a different Brough.

I really don't see the point in listing Brough's strengths. I don't think it would alter Eaton's opinion anyway. Some people need to have their hate figures, that's just the way it is, but I'm sure Brough will take more notice of an opinion of someone like Nathan Brown.

Like it or not, he's our player and he's come in to our team mid-season which isn't easy. He's done some daft things but he's also done some very good things and he'll be a better player for us next year after a full pre-season and so on.

I really only think Brough has had two bad games for us Salford and Castelford.
To me his only real weakness is he can kick the odd ball out on the full. This is frustrating but it is because he is trying to make things happen by going for difficult options which when they work are superb bits of skill.

You wanted a list of Brough's strenghts. From what i have seen of him at the Giants.

Long kicking game
last tackle bomb's which have led to several tries
pace off the mark from dummy half
quality long flat passes such as the ne that put Lawrence in space at leeds
ability to read the oppositions attack leading to him intercepting passes.
rock solid wide defence (which i have to admit has surprised me as i thought this may be a weakness)

i thought brough was outstanding at leeds, we seemed to go off our game when he went off, i also think he will/is a asset to the team took him a while to settle in but now seems to be coming to the fore, i think next season with a full pre season behind him the doubters may look elsewhere for their scapegoat.
