if you think the atmosphere is rubbish at the back of the kilner bank then you might as well forget any atmosphere anywhere else then cos thats as good as it gets im afraid.
to be honest i dont think the atmosphere was that bad on friday personally, just on a side note,which songs did you try and get going then cos i didnt hear any new songs that were attempted

Not any new one's as the one's i want to sing have more than 3 words so it becomes difficult for some people to understand. Sang nathan browns barmy army for a while just the 2 of us glad to see noone joins in, if people cant marster that one then we have had it. If i could change one thing about our game that would be it, calling it a family sport will never give it a good atmosphere. Some of our so called singers need to stop acting like 10 year olds start acting their age and get behind the team and sing, after Millwall fc fans say, your just all maufff.

no probs with atmosphere at away games hard core always capable of rving it up.seems to be aslightly embarrassing aspect at home games.forward pass needs to be boosted toinfluence refs we get it at all away grounds but we r not loud enough silly as it sounds will cost us at least 1 home win per season.

Tried that and everybody laughed. Get a few doing it would sound good. A bit like "we're claret and gold, we're claret and go-o-old". sounds poor with just a few singing it but lots join in it sounds good.

Last two Hull games have been good atmospheres for us. Seeing as you can't stand up, can't wave a flag etc. It's not surprising the atmosphere is poor at times.

Who says we cant stand up? people power if we all stand up near the back the stewards cant do owt as i found out at the town games they could not make 12 of us sit down. Might sing then.

Personally would say that our home atmosphere is poor when compared to some, strange as we used to create lots I think.

Can see why our "singers at the back" get frustrated at others not joining in - but think more at the front do than perhaps they realise. As for the drum - good in small bursts - and BIG G certainly gets some good chants of GIANTS!!! going.

As for songs - Good chants of FARTOWN, or GIANTS will usually get a decent response, BARMY ARMY when away (ala Salford) is good, WISE MEN (needs to be sung more to become our known anthem) and chants for individual players are good too. Guess a few more ditties would be welcome but many suggestions made on this forum have failed to take off.

On a less positive note I really do not like to hear chants such as "I GOT A SHED" (what's that about???) that is never gonna get supported apart from those few who repeat it at every away ground - or anything else aimed at demaning the opposition.

to be fair regarding the bottom paragraph thats just friendly banter wich is reserved for certain clubs and their fans know its only banter.
At least we dont regularly sing insulting songs towards rivals etc like certain clubs !
