Don't lay this on the fans look at the reaction by Warrington fans if they drop off or when we beat them last year that wasn't how it was yesterday the team were supported to the bitter end and I am surprised by your comment if you were there !!'"
I'm sure the lads really appreciate hearing - "you're nothing special we lose every week" and similar.

If you consider finishing as one of the top 4 teams in the country 3 years running as 'failure' then you're expectations are way higher than mine which is fair enough but i'm sure most fans would consider his record since taking over to be more of a success than a failure.
This year is an exception, we are playing poorly and struggling at the bottom , we haven't done that for years, we have constantly been up at the top and seen as challengers.
Paul Anderson can only be judged on what the club has done while he's been in charge and his record shows he's not done too bad, certainly not bad enough for him to be called a failure !.
Like i said it's all down to opinion and expectations.

| Voted no.
Progression is a marathon, not a sprint. That's Andersons progression. This is the first time Anderson as a coach has had to deal with a season like this. We might struggle to get top 8 but he'll learn from this.
The 3 years of hard work just to be tossed aside and let someone else have a go would be a bad judgment call.
For those who voted yes... Who do we bring in to turn things around?
Do you really think it'll get us wins?
Long term will we be better off?
Who's available to get us out of this slump and turn us into grand final winners, because Anderson got us one game away and a league leaders shield as a rookie head coach. Who can do better?
Wire fans might be reading this laughing and wondering if they sounded this silly last season when Tony Smith had a big bad run. Bet they're glad he's still on board.
Point being, nobody turns into a bad coach over the off season.

What's up Jools looking to smash the fans instead of the team ?? Or do you not like anything outside your book of phrases ??
The team were well supported yesterday unfortunately yes the team was way off where it should be and to the people who find it a struggle to pay the £30 to £40 to get to Cas and watch and support it can be frustrating as they have worked a day to spend that money on the Giants.
If you won't accept criticism of certain players and the club when it's fair back off the fans because that isn't remotely fair they have to pay to be there not getting paid to be like the players and coaching staff !!

| Jools has blinkers on. Anything posted about the Management or lack of she attacks. It's her job. Supporters opinions are of no interest or the fact they pay hard earned money to watch Giants. Move along or she will attack. Ha ha

Please you have to be kidding Warrington fans were moaning because of a slight under performance.
Huddersfield 2016 12th place one win from nine matches.
Warrington 2015 finished 6th I think certainly comfortably middle 8's and they got to the Challenge Cup semi Finals ??
Lot of difference there give me Warringtons 2015 finish now for us this season and I wouldn't be asking should the coach leave.
They are probably laughing because one of their great rivals season has gone down the toilet and there doesn't seem to be a plan to fix it!!

Hmm- I'm a supporter myself- and pay my own hard earned money for the whole family to watch giants. I'm entitled to my opinion too- and my opinion is supporters are to help the team through the bad patches not just glory in the good times. I just believe when the lads are clearly struggling mentally and go marginally behind they'd rather hear chants of encouragement rather than hearing their fans chant about how bad they are - it isn't really going to help motivate them----- oops no sorry silly me- motivation- that's purely Anderson's job,

| Quote: GIANT DAZ "Very true Jools ...it could backfire either way really ...my point was its no good sacking Anderson then bringing in someone who the fans will then moan is 'not big enough' or 'we should have gone for xyz'.
Like you say we've had big name coaches in the past and we have not improved under them.'"
Why do you always claim fans are, or will moan Daz, they are entitled to their opinion ,aren't they ?
We have also had No name coaches in the past under who we have improved no end.
Seems to me we are right back in the same situation we were with J Sharp , and I remember reading all the same arguments for and against, Half the fans claiming he was the best thing since coaching was invented, the other half claiming he needed to go.
People just quote all the arguments they can ,that they think will support their case, It's the nature of things. but Mr Anderson and everyone else has a job until Mr Davy says he hasn't, and he will be basing his judgements on a wholly different set of criteria than what we do.
It doesn't matter Diddly squat what we think in reality, because we are basing all our arguments on the team performance side of things.
The ironic thing is that the Anderson to stay people , in their support of everything Giants are in fact supporting the coach ( who is, or is not) responsible for the slump and the loss of fans, which is exactly the reason Mr Davy is likely to get rid of him for.
I wonder how many of the fans who shouted long and hard for more time for J Sharp to turn it round would have gone back to him, a few months later. I know Mr Davy wouldn't, I Don't think for one moment he enjoyed having to sack him, any more than he would P Anderson ( if it should happen ) But he is the man who is funding the club He has to think about Gates should we go into the 8s and God forbid lower still.
So I voted yes. He has said on occasions that he loves to coach defence, and he had success with it , in terms of wins, but the defence is now not working any better than the attack, I am not keen on his style of football and for me it is not going to help Gates, in fact they are dropping all the time, and is therefor not helping the club go forward

Ha ha'" Here's a challenge for you ambergiant. Most of your posts are attacks on individuals and rarely original so how about you writing a post about what you actually know, not what you think you know, about what the problem is at the Giants at present. Most posters on this forum are true Giants supporters you in my opinion are nothing of the sort. The Ha Ha at the end of your last post was nearly original but must try harder.

| Bilko you have never seen me criticise any of the Giants players, unlike some. These lads put there bodies on the line and should be supported and not treated like pieces of meat. If my ha ha got up Jools and your noses then great.
Your constant support for the Management suggesting it's all the Players fault. They do not make the Big decisions, neither do the fans. Who will be made the scapegoat. I suppose the Players.

| i think the fans wanting anderson out will have a long wait as ken davy doesnt make rash decisions
short term it may help like it has done with hull kr and wakefield
but long term i dont think it will
were the fans expecting to win the grand final this season? think we need to have a reality check as we have had it good for the last few years and punching above our weight.
we have been the most consistent team in terms of wins for the last 4 years , think we have won the most games in the league. we are having a very rough patch but we will come through it but will have to accept middle 8's is the best we can hope for now this season and build for next with hopefully less disruption!

Ken has also openly said that he waited too long to get rid of Brown and that was a mistake HTH
