There were plenty, not just on here but on the facebook pages, even after the 1st 3 games they were howling for him to go !!!! in fact only a few weeks ago there was another one.

The baloo out brigade were pretty vociferous after 3 games and there were plenty of threads on here.. We've lost 2 of 13 games.. One by 1 point away at the champions.. Although to be fair we should have won it.
As for doing better? I think we have exceeded most peoples expectations for this season, apart from being top of the league by a streak I'm not sure how he could have done better?

Think the fans need to be more positive, very downbeat on here when we are such a good position, get behind the team!

yes we have been let down many times in the past but right now we should be talking upbeat as everything is still to play for

You talk about basic errors costing us .

Who makes basic errors. who regularly maks basic errors. if they keep doing it then it needs to be trained out of them then they need to be shipped out. If players are not good enough they go.

Who trains, them, who picks them, who recriuts them.


Who gives players new contracts, who recruits players that wont make basic errors.



Do Leeds lose games regularly with basic errors Do Wigan.

If we lose our next seven games by one point in each game with one player making a basic error would that be enough for you.

If we lost Brough our attack pretty much would die as would the results and the season.

I am still not entirely convinced by Anderson.

What a load of whingers on here. We have been a top 5 side for a number of years now and we are still not satisfied. Teams don`t lie down for us to walk all over them, they know they are in for a hard game, so raise their game against us.
I would like to win a CC or GF, but I am content enough to watch the team win the majority of their league games and finish in the top 4.
People seem to forget we finished top of the pile a couple of years back, and that is more difficult than winning a couple of play-off games at the end of the season.
The players are doing their best, they want to win and play well just as much as we want them to. I think a lot of the critism on here is a bit unfair.

It is about where you set your expectations though. Maybe the attitude above is the attitude of the club.

How many times do people post on here the onlky way to build the club is to win something.

If they are right and your approach is still the same then it means that the club will just go nowhere but be average in the top 4.

like i said, i am happy with the season so far as i thought we would struggle to make the top 4 after 23 rounds, we've done that and so that means our destiny is now in our own hands, we don't need to hope other teams slip up etc for us to get to the semi's...

yes i would like us to win every game and every trophy going but it just aint gonna happen, i just don't get people who moan for the sake of moaning, let's be positive, as it stands we are 8 games from the grand final..will we get there? possibly, possibly not, there are 7 other teams thinking the same, but i'm not going to start crying and sulking if we don't get there.

I suspect you have been watching League for a long time ( or Huddersfield anyway ) and I think Maybe you have got so used to being a loser that even the slightest bit of success is seized upon and turned into a triumph, It's understandable enough if you have been a one club man all your life, but it's a recipe for staying a nearly club.

If as you say you are happy with a team that has finished in the top 5 for a few years, good for you and everyone else who feels that way, But you are destined to be an ever dwindling band .

I agree with you about the players, They are doing their best,( Though it's hard to believe it sometimes after games like last week ) I don't think anyone goes out there and deliberately doesn't try. But to pass it off with things like, Oh well we won that's what matters , we made sure of 4th . Well it's not all that matters to me or the few hundred more people who wont turn up next time because they will think , I'm not paying to watch that crap again. The Season ticket holders will turn up , half of them will turn up whatever, but it's hardly going to take the club forward is it.

Durham Giant has a good point, what happens Post K Davy, Without him our crowds would put us in with the Wakey's and Fax's and on a downward spiral to Who knows where, Something needs to change at the club if it's going to survive.
There is no disputing what he says, Winning is winning, 2nd is nowhere in modern day sport.

You asked, have people forgot we finished the top of the pile a couple of years ago, Judging by the size of our crowds this season I would say the answer is yes, or they were not quite as impressed with it as some of us on here.
It was great to see K Davy hold up a piece of Silverware ( God knows he deserved it ) But the Hub cap ( as it's called ) is regarded in League as third prise, and good as it was to win it, are we going to be looking back on this for the next 20 years, like we look back to 1962. or to the challenge cup finals that we lost, to Saints and Wolves, and yet celebrated as though we had won.

We have chance to really make a mark this season yet, I hope and pray PA has some master plan worked out for us, We haven't Beaton any of the sides above us yet, but that doesn't mean we can't, They will only have the same No of players as us.
