| Quote: Danril "I can.
We paid no fee for him. They got a great deal as it was, better than us, without the fee. Just because Wakey say they got a fee doesn't mean they did. They would have had a new stadium 15 years ago if we took them at face value.
He's a Leeds academy product after all as well. Yes. Leeds. The most prolific club in Yorkshire in terms of producing players. Not Wakey. Leeds. And in terms of bringing them through to the first team, we are next. Not Wakey. Us. And we're only going to get better
Things aren't as bad as some of our fans try to make out. Try being a Wakey fan, or plenty of other teams.
Fact is we're doing pretty well right now and we should start realising, acknowledging and celebrating it. Moaning wont bring in more fans. Being positive will, and why not be positive? After all, it could be so much worse.'"
I agree with these sentiments Dan.'Rollercoaster' it was never more apt for us.We did look like trophy winners early. The players acknowledged that's the way they were feeling about things too.We suffered from burn out in the end, that much became obvious. We still held on to 4th though, and in so doing at last got that Headingley win.
The only game I was really annoyed about was the final one, which I thought was a let down in terms of application & execution.
Don't see why some should be still be depressed,we are building already for next season in terms of squad, and Nathan has already stated that next year our defensive resolve will be back to that we have come to expect under his coaching.

This much is true, his time with us has been blighted, and think I recall him saying he saying he hardly got a scratch when playing in the NRL.They don't get injured on purpose, hope the luck is now with him. He's a class 2nd row but maybe prop will be his best position after all.

I could see there being a few shock positional changes next season.NB is gonna have to alter things as his gameplan this year in the end got found out.More of the same might not work.Maybe us as fans have to be more patient in the early season if we aren't blowing teams off the park and suffer shock losses. As long as we are building.'It's not how you start it's how you finish' is now the buzz catchphrase of SL.
Could anyone see Murphy at FB,Grix at SO & Kev at loose.
How does this look.
Murphy
Jez Wardle Leroy George
Grix Brough
Kev
LOD Charlie
Doof Fooey Mason
Eorl Larne Robbo Tonks'"
i would prefer to see a side of
Grix
Murphy
Cudjoe
Wardle
Mcgilivary
Brown
Brough
Mason
Robinson
Falalogo
Gilmour
Chan
O Donnell
Crabtree
Patrick
Faiumu
Lunt
Can see Murphy playing on the same side as Cudjoe and possibly been used as a centre in defence and as a winger in attack like Lawrence was doing this year.

| Maybe 2012 will be more to do with the style of RL we play.
Bruno looks like he has dropped down the pecking order now.

| I'm not sure he has dropped down or not. He's just signed a new improved deal recently, no indicative of someone dropping down the order. stella's teamsheet however shows the competition for spots in the threequarters and the back row so no one can take anything for granted.

He will,as unfortunately injuries are inevitable.

However there is form, with Andy R having signed a 3 year deal last year...

| why be so negative. Which teams have significantly strengthened. i would say only Wakefield and they were so far behind anyway that they are not really a threat.
The only major loss to the side is Griffin while we have brought in two quality players and some other who have potentail and will give the squad depth. When you have your 1,6,7,9,13 all tied up to long term contracts then you are not going to see massive changes to the side.

| Warrington have lost King,Clarke and Anderson while in the likes of Hodgson Briers and Morley they have a lot of long in the tooth players in key positions
Saints have lost Graham who will be a massive loss and Pryce and brought in a couple of decent overseas players but i would not say they are stronger.
Wigan have lost Coley, O Carroll, Deacon and Hoffman and Joel Tomkins is rumoured to be going to union
Leeds have lost Buderus and Lautiti
Hull have signed a few but have also lost a lot of quality Fitzgibbon long ect
i could go on. i fail to see any side who are making significant improvements to their squad.

| Quote: Danril "It matters because all a lad has to do is go for a wazz in the toilets at Wakey and some claim him as a Wakey academy product whereas the reality is rather different. So perhaps better to reign your own lot in, start keeping some promises and cast a judging eye on your own clubs performance instead of parping it here! T'is the off season in case you'd not noticed and we need to keep ourselves amused, after all!'"
Murphy did start out at Leeds but moved to wakey academy where he was developed from academy to a SL regular. So even though io agree he started at Leeds academy I believe we had a big hand to play in his transition from academy to regular SL. Because of this I will follow his progress.
As for hudds 2011 season it's a similar season to our playoff birth a few years ago. I hope you kick on better than wakey did. Hopefully we will be more of a challenge for you this year and won't roll over .
As for your enthusiasm it's something as a wakey fan that 2011 has knocked out of me but it's slowly returning
