| we scored 34 points today and scored enough against salford recently too win a game.
its a shame our defence is shot to pieces and that we just cant seem to win once we hit the front, we was 10 points ahead in the 2nd half at one stage!
lots of errors and forward passes but cas were just as bad.
looking like the middle 8's for us this season unless theres a massive turnaround, start planning for next season.
taai was good today and huby played ok too
we had more disruption with wood (another groin injury) and leeming and johnson falling ill so that didnt help

| Yeah- brierley was targeted by Cas today but he handled everything well. Some nice movement in the line too, brough missed a couple of great chances to pass to him - in fact brough was extremely hit and miss today! Some shocking shocking passes

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg |

| Brierley is wasted at full back.
Absolutely horrendous game. Can't even say it was entertaining because the tries were that soft. Both teams were guilty of numerous handling errors and forward passes, just the basics were way off. At 30 22 with 13 mins to go Id imagine paul Anderson will have pulled his last remaining hair out at how Huddersfield played the next 5 minutes . Overall , as a Cas fan I'm happy of the 4 points over easter but we are miles away. As for Huddersfield, change of coach might spring some life into your disinterested team.

| brierley looks very solid under the high ball
the more him and brough get to know each other with combos the better
agree about brough being hit and miss yesterday with some of his passing being poor, or is it the players not catching the ball! either way not good enough and puts us under too much pressure in defence which we can do without at the moment

No his passes were off- too low, too high, not in the "bread basket" too early or too late.... I can't recall ever seeing brough have a top notch game playing Cas at the Castleford ground....

| I watched Brierley yesterday and to say he looked a frustrated man was an understatement, i reckon with the right pass he could have had a hat-trick, on at least 4 occasions the play was set up for him to come round the back and create a 4 on 2 and every single time - and mainly from Broughy - it was completely ignored and we opted for the flat pass to the nearest man, fired at pace, which resulted in the man not expecting it to drop it....Ryan was stood there arms aloft shaking his head.
Were these plays set up that way and did we just choose to try and fool the defence or was it good line running from Ryan that just wasn't spotted ?
Either way we blew those chances.
Thought once again Ta'ai, Rapira and Hinchliffe were our best players with Connor not far behind....in fact i could probably pick the same 4 from every game !
Leroy and Jerry looked good in attack but shocking defensively, but then again most of them were yesterday.

Yup I agree with that but Connor needs to learn to defend out wide his role in the try we conceded just before half time was poor and Brieley could be something special if we learn how to use him
