It is quite simple folks. The players in their mind are trying BUT we do not have players who individually are good enough. They live or die as a team. We are only good if all 13 are playing together as a team.
To work as a team they have to be listening and playing as the coach wants them too. I dont think that is happening. Defence is a key area where you can see if a team is playing as a team. Our defence is shiite. In attack an individual can do something special so not always about the team

Anyway tonight will maybe show us who is right.

So if they are not listening and playing as the coach wants them to -and as a result they are losing, you'd think they'd start listening....... Surely that's the players at fault not the coaches.

No Jools what it means is the coach has lost the dressing room.

You change the blame every week Jools if the worst happened and we got relegated I guess it wouldn't be anyone's fault !!

The heads down points to Andersons loss of the dressing room but what will be will be it's far more than just not listening there's too many good layers for that.

You are making an ASSUMPTION here that the players aren't happy with the coaching then? But they were last year, and the year before, and the year before that? So why have they suddenly decided they don't like him?

Anderson has clearly said the coaching methodology was changed this season to make us quicker and to allow us to attack with more pace and venom. He said we were too one paced last year and that's why we got mullered at Wigan in the play offs.

That change clearly hasn't worked, there appears to be no Plan B and everyone's frustrated with what's happening.

So only this season is relevant as the previous methodology was working a lot better.

So Jools he didn't make an assumption the facts are based on performance and results Paul Anderson has clearly got it way wrong but can't find a resolution as he cant change back to the previous years methodology as the people have gone so only this season has any relevance to the way we are playing.

We ain't got no pace our tackling is shot and we cough up more easy ball and get dominated around the ruck more than any other team.

The change was not a good one and I can't see who else is to blame !!

He has made an assumption he's assumed that Anderson has lost the dressing room -that the players are unhappy with PA and his systems. if a player has said as much then fair enough- otherwise it's an assumption.

Reported today and repeating what I said in an earlier post above, something has to give as there is a lot of unrest at the Giants at the minute and it is not just Brough either

But a source tells us that the conflict is between Brough and coach Paul Anderson. The two strong-willed characters don’t see eye to eye, with Brough losing the captaincy and a recent sin-binning against the Airlie Birds not helping matters. If the Giants’ losing run continues, one of them will surely be leaving the John Smith’s Stadium this season.

That could well be near the mark, We shall have to wait and see.

The one thing we can say with a fair amount of certainty is that with the exception of Brough, and possibly Gerry all our players have gone backwards individually under Mr Andersons coaching. We can assume they have not made a collective deliberate decision to do that . So where do you start to look for the answer. Or are we saying that whatever the reasons for the present situ they are nothing to do with the coach, and everything to do with the players not doing what he tells them to do.
