| was a very crucial call that one where murphy had the ball stripped, we were on a roll and that would of put us on the wire line...
morley seemed to get away with a fairbit lastnight too

| Didn't think he was too bad at the time but having watched the game back there is certainly one or two things that went against us, mainly consistency in the interpretations by Silverwood. whether it will have made the outcome any different no-one will ever know.

| as I posted on another thread
bridge and morley get away with swinging arms/high shot, we get a penalty against and a man on report for same thing..,both decisions in favour of warrington
westwood twice going into the tackle/PTB with knees, one resulted in a knock on against us, another, no action taken.decisions favouring warrington.
briers ball strip on murphy, led to a knock on against us and led to the winning try.decision in favour of warrington.
on 2/3 occasions, silverwood calls held then release, warrington player then carries on with the tackle, puts the man to ground and turns him over, decision in favour of warrington ( we conceded 4 penalties for lesser infringement), decisions in favour of warrington.
ball steal ruling against jake connor when the ball was there to be won, decision favoured warrington.
various occasions wire got away with things that we got penalised for, like I said, that's my opinion on the ones I can remember.
I am in no way claiming these decisions changed the outcome of the game, just pointing out that IMO warrington got just about every decision go their way.
that's how I saw it after watching the game back, im not saying the result would have been different as we still made too many crucial errors in defence and attack but warrington definitely got the decisions last night.
but its done with now and they are in the final and good luck to them

| perhaps wire werent penalised when they should have been. From what I can see we were penalised when we should have been - ATEOTD if we are penalised for indiscretions then we have ourselves to blame noone else.

| There's only one decision that really did swing momentum for me, Silverwood (the one getting all the grief) correctly calls a ball steal by Briers on Murphy? (think it was him) late in the 2nd half, the touch judge overules it saying that he saw Murphy drop the ball, Silverwood originally calls 6 to go and then a scrum on the advice of the TJ.
That was the only decision for me that was a real momentum swinger, it was a 2 point ball game and we were on the back foot at that point.
I will concede you MIGHT have done something to win the game had that gone in your favour.
Everything else (you may think i'm a biased myopic Wire fan) was par for the course in every game week in week out, bad decisions are made because refs are human, very rarely do they cost teams the game. At the end of the day if Hudds had showed up to their full potential they could have easily won that game, it wasn't the ref that allowed an easy Grix try by missing the ball in the ingoal area, or the ref that outjumped Cudjoe to score, or the ref that couldn't cop with our right edge attacking.

| Who out jumped Cudjoe to score? At least get the right player. Although Cudjoe did make a right mess of the try before half time.
Thought the penalty against Connor was a terrible decision.

| My favourite non-decision was just before Huddersfield score. It was Myler who was at best in line with the Huddrsield hooker and about 15 yards to the side of hi. As the play continued he made the tackle Eddie even called it on the commentary. In the grand scheme of things it didn't matter as you went on to score within a minute of the incident.
I thought every 50/50 call no scrub that 10/90 calls went against you.

| on the ball strip sliverwood had the best view of all . he could have gone to the video ref even but in the cold light of day in big matches like this more should be done to make sure the ref makes the correct calls in cricket the DRS was introduced to stop the howler maybe in our game the video ref should be able to over rule the on field ref if there has been a bad mistake like last nights ball strip.or do we do a football no technology at all and leave to the on field officials

I don't think anyone is saying that the decisions cost us the game, no, just saying how you seemed to get all the decisions you way, you would still have won the game regardless,as we only had ourselves to blame for the tries we conceded.
