| Can't wait for this game, can't make my mind up on what is going to happen, desperately trying not to get excited about the season so far, but a dominating win over Wigan.........

| 7/4 is not massive (Hills the only ones going that big) and they probably know the weight of money they can expect if they are too generous on Wigan....last year they were cut from 4/7 to 4/9 or lower in the hours before the game and those that backed them were proved right, think in truth they do respect our chances and we will see if punters agree and they have to cut the odds or people are not confident enough in us to go in at those prices.
As in football with the big 4 they know people will lump Leeds/Wigan/Saints and Wire in accas week in week out and that is why there is value in trying to work out which of them will slip up as the bookies will err on the side of caution when pricing up the teams they know people want to back blind.

yes but last week we were talking about bookies maybe having us as slight favourites for this game so for me its abit of value at 7/4 at home

Great value for sure but we can take advantage without having the worry of laying decent money on Wigan which Hills seem to want to avoid and Ladbrokes amongst other seem happy to take on at 4/7.
I think it is a big price and have had a bit on us and in truth it is a 10/11 both of two game for me which in the first ten minutes could see a massive swing either way deopending on how we start.
Would I lay Wigan at 10/11 on the high street.....no way
Would I encourage people to back us at 7/4....too right 4 or 5/1 at Saints was an optimistic punt tomorrow we can be backed with confidence and though no means certanties if we do the things we are good at well it is a game we can win and if we are to get to where we all want us to be probably need to win.
Bring it on

Another try from Ferres anytime and 25/1 may not be seen for a long time (as with Lunt's 40/1 v Saints and now looking at 12/1 week in week out despite yet to score first or last )
A little sly bet on Kopzack to score 2 or more at 66/1 could be interesting (might not cop this week but if those odds stay all season I think there is a fair chance it will come in once or twice along the way).
Fielden 10/1 anytime???? Fate
Certainly pays to follow the forwards at present and hopefully it will take a few weeks for the bookies to catch on properly.

ferres is the man!!!
he was limping just before that try too!
great win today for us, so much grit in defence and it paid off, wigan had an extra man in childs (wrong end of the penalty count again)
top players today crabtree, mcgillvary and brough..could give a few more a mention too.. murphy saved a few certain tries.
decent crowd for a saturday 8k
kopczak injured??? didnt come back on.
though we were going to lose brough to with a collarbone injury but played on
on another note..patrick just doesnt seem to be matching the other forwards?? mullally a chance maybe

| Leroy first half defence was absolutely crucial for us today. What was the fight about? I just saw an elbow come up and down three times like a jackhammer, couldn't see who's arm - either brough or chan.

| Cudjoe has been immense for us in defence all games so far this season, and his offload to Jerry was sublime

| Second half defence was key for us today IMO. First half we let Farrell have too much room. We learned though and caught on to their missed-man pass and went for the man behind with Brough, Smurf, Jerry & Leroy all making crucial tackles.
Hunger was key. When Matty Smith was all alone 8m out they all jumped on him! Excellent defence.
Power to Ferres too, who I thought was shot just moments before. True, he was shot, but so were Wigan and he made it!
