Lawrence. Only player to consistently turn up week in week out.

Crabtree. He deserves it if only for the amount of crap that he puts up with week in week out from some of our fans. 15 years he's been here and still you hear him called "Big Girl" and "shirley". It's pathetic.

Then again his stats aren't bad either. 2nd most tackles. Most Tackle Busts, most Carries, most Metres.

Lawrence for me with Crabtree & Wardle close too.

Shame Larne has had all the time off that he has had due to injury because I think he'd of been a regular powerhouse every week for us and could of been our player of the year.

i agree, those stats are massive, got my vote anyway this time.

wardle is up there but his missed tackles needs improving on.

mcgillvary playing great at the moment but he had a wobble mid season in defence too.

crabtree has been consistent. so has brough.

lawrence up there but not played as many games as crabtree.

still abit of the season to go yet though!!

Lawrence is a good shout. Gives 100% every game and really is invaluable. I actually thought Wood had been good for us this year too. Especially his versatility

Wardle for me. Been consistent enough even with the added workload of a new born baby. Crabtree on stats looks a good choice and Wood was fantastic until injury and is probably the most improved player.

Bruno for me. Without his defence we would have been slaughtered down the middle more than we have been.
