Times must be hard if they are playing two props on the second row.

So as well as Brough they have been forced to sell Lawrence,Chan,Ferres,Ferguson and Fairbank.

bit early to be making team selections yet, bit more wheeling and dealing to go..

eden/grix/murphy at full back who knows!

mullally and patrick in the 2nd row ferres will be playing loose forward.

ive thought about that combination too...to be honest if no new half back is brought in then i think its the best way for us to go !

I missed the other half back out well we all know it will be broughy. and mullally can play 2nd row.

I'm not sure what Luke George has done wrong, personally I think he is our fastest out and out winger.

The main problem I see next season, initially, is trying to give everyone game time. I believe the above to be a competitive team, yet I'm struggling to fit Lawrence, Ferguson, Mullally & Patrick in.

Paul Anderson appears to have a built a squad which can compete, but with plenty of back-ups and competition for places (something I feel we really lacked last season). Being able to rotate forwards, particularly props, will be a massive advantage as the season goes on.

I feel more confident going into next season than I did the last, a lot of people on here had fears about our lightweight pack, which unfortunately were eventually realised.

On a secondary note, does anybody know when the fixtures will be released for next season? I am still in a bit of a quandary as to whether I should purchase a season ticket or pay on the gate.

Fixtures come out usually about third week in November I think. So you might have a few days before early bird deadline.

mullally for mason too maybe... its a gripe leaving lawrence out but what can you do!

I wouldn't put taai straight in the squad -when we have no idea what he can offer. I would definitely have Lawrence somewhere in the squad- not only for his game but the fact that he offers a great deal of cover. If we lose a centre or winger he can cover, if we lose a halfback he can cover leroy that will go in there, or if robbo goes in he can cover fooey who will go in at hooker. Not many players can cover back row, second row, wing and centre with ease.

I think pre-season will show the coaches what all the players can do.

PA is going to have a lovely dilemma when it comes to picking his forwards- and with Matty Dawson and smurph looking to get a foot in not bad in the outside backs neither.
An injury to HBs and I can see us really struggling though. Remember last year- brown, brough, grix, wood all injured - david hodgson at halfback! and next year we don't have as much cover
